Margaret Kuo’s not only serves outstanding food in a bright, open, and inviting space, but also delivers truly impeccable service. From the moment you arrive, you’re treated like a VIP. The fresh sushi bar, flavorful hot entrées, and extensive wine and cocktail list make the meal itself exceptional, and the desserts are genuinely unforgettable. Overall, it’s a fantastic dining experience and the remarkable, top-tier service is what sets it apart. Highly recommend. Price is moderate. Plenty of free parking. Allergy and children options available. Bar dining available. Sushi bar dining available. Table service. Private party room. Outdoor seating available weather permitting.

Sushi is fresh perfectly prepared. All dishes were a big hit at the table : Gen Tso chicken, Black Pepper Filet, Shrimp fried rice.
Service was a 10. Owner stopped at table to ensure all are happy.

First time visiting Margaret Kuo. The restaurant was fine dining and nice decor.
The servers were fantastic. We didn’t have to wait to order, and they were constantly making sure we had what was needed. The food was delicious and came out nice and hot. The prices were reasonable, and we will definitely be back.
If you are in the area and looking for Chinese, definitely give them a visit.

Food is good. Large wonton soup is just in a large container with extra broth. Sushi was great. Not super exited to go back . But I would if I was in the area.

My elderly client has not been able to go out for some time due to health and depression. I was blessed to have been given the opportunity to take her out for Mother’s day last minute. We were given a reservation for two but due to traffic and much delays, we were two hours late. Our host was still able to make accommodations for us despite the jam packed restaurant from back to front. We had a cozy corner at the Sushi bar which was delightful. Every dish from appetizers, main dish and dessert was a visual and delicious treat. The atmosphere was casual, classy and inviting. Our host and waiter was attentive. We give 5 stars for quality ingredients, beautiful presentation, flavorful, easy parking, excellent service, wide variety of selections, cleanliness, professional and artistic atmosphere.

As soon as we were sat our waitress seemed very annoyed in general and not friendly. I had ordered the spicy salmon roll and a regular salmon roll was brought out. When I mentioned this to the waitress she asked if she could just bring out spicy dipping sauce. I politely declined as I wanted the spicy roll. More than halfway through our sushi rolls and lo mein being brought out my mother’s entree was still not out. When I asked the waitress she seemed very confused. At this point everyone was done eating so we told her we did not want it anymore. She goes in the back and brings it out right away. Which means it was made and ready she just forgot to bring it out. The food overall was good but due to the service I will not be returning.

While the food was tasty, the service and atmosphere really were the standout features for my husband and I. The restaurant’s interior is beautiful and despite how full it was, it did not feel noisy or cramped. The service was extremely friendly and well-paced. We did not feel rushed, but we did also did not have to wait long for our food. The sushi was fresh and high quality. Our appetizers came out a little too hot, but after they cooled down they were delicious. Our entrees were great with food portion sizes.

This has always been one of our favorite places with its great atmosphere and we make sure to find time to stop by. My Wife, mom, and I decided to go by after doing some Christmas shopping and we were excited to eat the dumplings. We were seated immediately and didn’t give it much thought to what we were eating. We ordered the ribs as an appetizer and the pork dumplings, which causes the table to get quiet with how good the food was. I went with my favorite dish to eat there, the general tso’s chicken and it’s the best you can get. The thing that surprised us was the lemoncello dessert, which we all took our time to eat and that is added to the list of things we have to get next time. So the next time you need a place to go, go there and tell them I sent you.

Everything was wonderful except the Owner and/or manager, the middle aged gentleman that lives in Berwyn ( I say that so that he knows exactly who I am referring to, since he made NO effort to introduce himself as he did with other patrons). He rudely made jokes while conversing with the Asian woman and her Irish companion seated to the left of my husband and I, about calling ICE on someone for not speaking English as a citizen, which was in extremely poor taste. He checked in on the neighboring tables occupied by Caucasian patrons, and completely ignored my husband and I, not even offering a parting thank you or salutation when we were finished dining. The food in the establishment was very tasty and the servers were nice, but the arrogance, lack of acknowledgement to all patrons dining and blatant disregard, would prevent me from visiting this establishment again.

Went here for lunch. Started with the wonton soup which was very good. Then I ordered the crispy beef with orange sauce. That was good too but definitely not crispy. For dessert I ordered the caramelized apples. It wasn’t bad, but not what I was expecting. Overall the food was good and I would visit again.
