Located in the hotel with a great atmosphere. Tacos and tortadas were tasty, and the shell-shaped cocktail was super cute. Would definitely come back.
Very spacious, service was good, and they validate parking, but they only take off $10 so you still pay $10 for parking at valet. Other than that, would return again!
Highlights were the crab cake and the lemon mushroom rigatoni.
Things that we were disappointed by: I love octopus, but this was way too tough. And came with a few pieces of broccoli and fried chickpeas. Tuna tartare had avocado filler in it, was a bit bland, and the bread that came with it was blah. Salmon was undercooked.
Not pictured was the shrimp scampi orzo which was good – again not worth the price point though.
The food was excellent and absolutely worth it, and the service was overall great.
For breakfast and brunch, do yourself a favor and sit inside. The outdoor seating gets hit hard by the sun, and the umbrellas can’t block the walkways, unless you enjoy being slow-roasted while waiting for your food.
Now, the food? Outstanding. The Jidori chicken sandwich was phenomenal, and the calamari with saffron marinara was genuinely to die for. Bold flavors, perfectly cooked, and clearly made with care.
I’d come back for the restaurant alone without hesitation…just not for the hotel.
The food was also top notch. Steak was cooked to perfection! The wings had an amazing glaze and the cheesecake was also a perfect balance and combination of flavors!
Ambiance and atmosphere was also amazing and made me feel so relaxed after a long trip to LA.
I was taken to a table that was not even cleaned, then I finally sat down, however iI was set down at a table that was strongly exposed in the sun while the other 2 tables under the shade were available. I would say the staffs there were not as attentive as star-hotel required.
Then the food was kinda boring, and I hate that huge fork, and spoon looking so savage to me.
So overall, I did not have a good feeling here.
But good thing is my day was not ruined here after walking to Venice Beach
