I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The food was exceptional—each dish offered something new and unique, with every bite a true masterpiece. The service was equally impressive; Philipe was knowledgeable and provided detailed descriptions of the dishes, ensuring we made the perfect choices. After such an enjoyable first dinner, we returned the very next day. Well done to the entire team, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience.

We had dinner as a group of six — ordered the squid “tagliatelle,” tuna, lobster, fried shrimps, and scallops (everyone was especially impressed by the scallops!). All the dishes were delicious, beautifully presented, and made with very fresh ingredients.
The service was excellent — attentive yet discreet. The restaurant itself is small but has a very cozy and pleasant atmosphere.
Highly recommend this place to all seafood lovers!

I’m almost speechless. Make a reservation. Do it online. There was rain today so we chose to sit inside; upstairs is good. Our waiter / bartender / sommelier Francesco is clearly a master of many disciplines. He knows wine, the menu, the order of flavors and textures. We started with cubi di tonno and the « tagliatelle » di calamaro. For dinner we had the niçoise-style seared tuna, grilled octopus, and lobster catalana. For desert, « Decamisu » (just do it) and whipped vanilla cream. There were cocktails and bottles of wine. Let Francesco be your guide. Ten days in Italy and this is in the top 3 restaurants; the other two have Michelin stars.

Such a delicious, innovative and unique find in Milan. Service was excellent and passion for food and their restaurant was obvious. I’m a pescatarian and Marea is a perfect restaurant to dine for those of us who eat only seafood as their fish and seafood is flown in from around the world. I forgot to take photos of dessert but the whipped cream dessert and white wine was amazing as well. Definitely visit this restaurant when in Milan – we plan on returning again!

I had such a great experience at this place. The seafood was incredibly fresh, but what really stood out was the chef’s creativity. You can tell they’re not afraid to take risks — some of the flavor combinations were ones I’d never expect, but they totally worked. It felt like every dish had a little surprise in it, and somehow everything came together beautifully. Definitely one of the more memorable meals I’ve had in a while. Can’t wait to go back.
Cocktails are unreal, don’t miss out on the black Daikiri!

This was a great seafood experience in Milan. the dishes were fun and delicious with local ingredients. using the squid to simulate pasta and using the ink for sauce was playful and a surprising experience. their turbot was tender and tasty. their mackerel was a perfect combination of texture and flavor.
I would also like to add that the wait staff were wonderful. F and A were warm, friendly, and courteous. they shared recommendations while telling us about life in Milan, very lovely people.

A lovely restaurant with outdoor seating and a charming view of the church. The food was both interesting and delicious—beautifully balanced in flavor. The staff were incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and made sure we felt welcome and comfortable throughout our visit.
Later, I asked our waitress for a wine recommendation for a date night. She
immediately brought over a selection of bottles, each with detailed descriptions. My girlfriend and I loved the wine and had a wonderful evening.
I would definitely recommend this restaurants to anyone looking for a great dining experience.

We’ve just had an amazing meal at Marea. Service was spot on, so attentive and friendly. We went for the tasting menu with cocktails pairing – both so delicious! The scallop sliders were the highlight. Thanks for an amazing meal!

Very strange experience. Having heard a lot about this place, I had quite high expectations. Unfortunately it was not that good.
In the beginning they bring you bread (not fresh) and oil and you expect it to be complementary thing, but then you see it in the bill. They charge you 5€ for two pieces of stale bread (which you didn’t ask to bring.
The dish itself was also quite strange. My pasta looked like a Thai soup and tasted the same.
I feel very sad for being unsatisfied by the dinner.
