Fresh and flavorful food with pasta that tastes truly homemade. The branzino is light, delicious, and a great choice. Service is warm and attentive, and the owner is genuinely welcoming. A place I’d happily visit again.

Great evening out at Mare Monte in Haddonfield to celebrate a friends belated birthday. The restaurant has a lovely calm atmosphere and the staff is extremely attentive and knowledgeable.
After delicious calamari appetizer to share, I settled in with Vitello Mare Monte… mushrooms, crabmeat, candied walnuts, truffle gorgonzola cream over sauteed veal. Stellar!! We also shared a lively 2019 Fagmilia Castellani Sangiovese that we brought along. our lovely and friendly server expertly opened it and decanted it for us at the table with no issues and couldn’t have been better.
Was nice to have a sit-down meal out with some of my favorite people in a great atmosphere where you don’t feel rushed and they treat you like kings and queens.

This place is cute. However, i ordered their signature dish and it just did not smell appetizing to the point where I could not eat it. This meal came at the suggestion of our waiter. Our waiter did not check on our table after delivering our food and I was left sitting there with a meal I couldn’t choke down for almost 25 min. When he finally returned I was given no option other than to box it up and go home. (I left and had to go elsewhere for dinner at that point)

Great restaurant, we didn’t have a reservation but the staff were polite and able to accommodate us. Great prices and affordable, food was excellent definitely deserves more than 5 starts. I visited with friends few days ago but definitely going back with my family. Please try their desert ‼️

Amazing food and homemade pasta. The branzino is the best around and a great alternative to the heavier dishes. Highly recommend the “grilled cheese” which is a grown up version of a mozzarella stick. The staff is friendly, attentive, etc. and the owner is super nice as well.

We had 12 for dinner the day after Christmas, including 5 from out-of-town. Picked Mare Monte because of the good reviews and wanted a small downtown Haddonfield Christmas feel. We got what we were looking for. Food and service were excellent. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, water glasses were constantly refilled, bread refreshed and plates were timely cleared. Everyone raved about whatever entree they ordered. It was a top notch dining experience.

We had an incredible dining experience at Mare Monte in Haddonfield! To start, we tried the mussels and a polenta special for appetizers—both were absolutely delicious. For dinner, we enjoyed the gnocchi vodka and squid ink linguine, and wow, everything was phenomenal! The flavors were perfectly balanced, and every bite was a delight. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant! Can’t wait to return

Great place! Delicious pastas, sauces were amazing especially the artichoke app! Attentive service Would be an amazing date night spot as they had a number of cozy 2 person tables by the windows. (I went with my elderly parents and it was still great lol; party behind us had a 3 year old that was quite happy with his butter noodles, so they cater to all). Go, you will not be disappointed!!

My son took me here for Mother’s Day and it was absolutely wonderful! The service was the best I’ve seen anywhere and the food and menu were amazing. I had a cup of shrimp bisque, chicken piccata with capellini, and vanilla pannecotta (sp?) for dessert. Everything was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant!

Really enjoyed this place. Staff was friendly and attentive but took care not to disrupt the flow of our conversation/meal. Lots of good options on the menu; – couple can eat here for under 100 but we got 2 apps, a special asian sea bass dish, and 2 desserts 🙂 also may have been our luck having a late rsvp and going to close, but instead of rushing us out the server gave us a 3rd dessert because we had trouble deciding! It was strawberry tiramisu, chocolate budino, and i believe a vanilla budino topped with raspberry and pistachio (could be wrong, we were buzzed)
