New Restaurant review.

Items ordered:

Food:

Lechon Kawalisilog (salt & vinegar sauce)
Popcorn Chicken (sweet chili Thai sauce)
Pork Sisig
Garlic Fried Rice

Drinks:
Taro with Boba
Coconut with Boba

Experience:

The staff is friendly and this is day 2 for them so they are just getting settled. We ordered and the food did not take long at all to come out. The popcorn chicken is very good. Crisp outer crunch with a tender center and the Thai chili sauce compliments this appetizer dish nicely. Both pork dishes were good. The Lechón had a perfect crunch to it ( not overdone) and for those that eat this alot in other countries I can tell you 1st hand they got this right. I’ve had a similar pork dish in Puerto Rico and I almost lost teeth biting into it. This was great and the pork belly center was flavorful and goes well with the vinegar sauce. The garlic rice was underwhelming. It was luke warm when it came out and just not alot of flavor there. The bobas were excellent and man you have alot to choose from there.

There are alot of things on the menu that we did not try and we will save that for our return visit. This place is good and they will improve on some of the small things over time.

Happy eating everyone!

Marcuz Restaurant is a true gem in the heart of Fort Collins. As a Filipino owned restaurant, they deliver exactly what you hope for when you’re craving real Filipino comfort food.

We tried the bangus silog, sisig silog, leche flan, ube yam, halo halo, and my personal favorite, the chopsuey vegetable dish. Every plate was flavorful, well balanced, and cooked the way it should be. The bangus was perfectly seasoned, the sisig had the right texture and boldness, and the desserts were rich without being overpowering. The halo halo was layered properly and refreshing, not watered down.

From the service to the taste, this is hands down authentic. You can tell it was cooked by someone who truly understands Filipino cuisine. The warmth, the hospitality, the attention to detail, it all felt like home.

Honestly, 10 out of 10. This is easily one of the best Filipino restaurants in Colorado. If you’re in Fort Collins and want real Filipino food done right, Marcuz is the spot

Took my son here for the first time today. The food is delicious, they have the most insane selection of boba flavors and toppings, and their sizes are comically large. The staff is very friendly!

I will say, they are still new and finding their groove. I don’t recommend coming if you are in a hurry. I waited over 30 minutes for a boba, mochi waffle, and Masubi to go. It’s worth the wait, but bring your patience and treat the staff with the respect and kindness they deserve while they are getting acclimated in their new location!

Will absolutely be back and continue to support this awesome establishment!!

This was a great spot for dinner! The taro boba was sooo yummy, I would come back even just for the boba. We got the pork belly, garlic rice, and cream cheese wontons. All three were great! I think rice could have had a little more garlic, but I’m a garlic addict Such a cute space too!

We came on the opening day. The food was so delicious and came out fast even with the server warning us that it may be slow!! Amazing portion sizes, you will definitely get your fill. 10/10 blew my expectations away. So happy to have a filipino restaurant in Colorado and not having to drive down to Denver. There was 5 of us and we did it family style: pork sinigang, bangsilog, pork and shrimp lumpia, pancit bihon, pork sisig, pinoy spaghetti, turon and of course halo halo. Anyways please go show some support to the new restaurant.

Talking to the server (owner?manager?) she even hinted at there being karaoke and stand up nights eventually 😉

I have been SEARCHING for Filipino food in Fort Collins for the past 3 years, and the day has finally come!! I went a little crazy while ordering and ordered the arroz caldo, pork lumpia, spam musubi, pancit and Halo Halo. It is safe to say that I have NOT been disappointed. Everything tasted amazing and has been made with love, bringing me back home. This place is amazing and they are not shy with their portions, I would say you’re most definitely getting a bang worth your buck. I’m definitely trying their turon next time!

The food was really good and a very warm reception. I was very happy how extremely hospitable the owner was. Halo halo and Mais con yelo super masarap. Yung lechon kawali hindi oily and the vinegar with it makes me feel like I was home! Definitely would recommend!
