Marco’s responded asking that I fill out their online survey…which is what I initially did and didn’t get a response back which is why I posted this review online. Now they want me to do that again. Do you think they are just trying to “fake” their concern?
I’m hesitant to post this, but I believe after a week with no response from Marco’s, I should provide my experiences.
Mind you, this is the 2nd time over the last month that I’ve had to wait 40+ minutes PAST the time my pizzas were supposed to be done. This time is no different.
I arrived at the given time per my order at 4:40PM…and wad promptly told …”your pizza is in the oven, 5 more minutes”… I waited until 5 PM…asked them again…was told “5 more minutes”… at 5:12 PM… I asked again… and for the third time was told “5 more minutes” … at 5:21 PM I finally received my order… however… that jubilation was short lived…
I live 5-10 min away…depending on lights abd traffic…when I got home… they had given me someone else’s order…or purposefully made mine incorrectly… I asked for a Mike’s hot honey…with the honey on the side…no honey side or the garlic sauce…and garlic crust which was also not given…the pizza itself was almost raw…not the well done I had requested… and for having double pepperoni…I was surprised at how sparse the pepperoni was…see the pics … I also ordered another one…with double old world pepperoni…garlic crust, well done, garlic and honey sauce on the side… instead…they decided to give is a “firery” pepperoni pizza, no garlic crust toppers, no Mike’s hot honey no garlic sauce… the pepperoni was too spicy for my girls to eat and myself… so now we have 2 pizzas that we couldn’t eat… 1 for being barely cooked and the other for being too spicy… mind you… the pizzas were cold… not warm…cold…because they had been sitting for 30 minutes I would surmise… I’m surprised because the workers kept telling me there were in the stove and it would be 5 min…cold undercooked pizza sitting in the stove that long? So were they purposefully lying or just mistakenly patronizing me and the others waiting…
Since this was the 2 time at this location where an egregious wait time was required to get undercooked, cold, incorrect pizza…I decided to write to Marco’s corporate. Welp…Marco’s didn’t respond… so here I am…
I would be very very hesitant in trusting and relying upon Marco’s for honesty, consistency, and a reliable source for pizza. Paying that much for someone else’s pizza is not what you should expect…

Wow. It’s been a minute since I’ve had crap customer service. I won a gift card in a grand opening prize, and was excited to take my son. I drove over to the one in South Jordan, and the man was not helpful at all. I was trying to look up the balance on the card, and the website was useless. So when I went in to the physical location, the man “helping” me said he couldn’t tell me that I had to run it. So I put my order in, and it says “decline” so I said, “do I just need to let the people know that it didn’t have anything on it?” And he was like, “well try it again…” so I do, and he follows it with, well it looks like you need to active it. I’ve never had to activate a gift card, so I ask him how I go about doing that and he says online? All while spitting in a cup the whole encounter. Nasty. I honestly didn’t mind figuring it out, but after that first impression we’re getting pizza elsewhere. I don’t even care to pay more money than I was intending to. Ha. 0/10 recommend. Idk if the pizza is good, because I didn’t get to try it, but customer service goes a long way.

OMG what can I say? This place is run by a great guy (Josh). And he works so hard at keeping this place in tiptop shape in so many ways. I know that when they make the food, I’m going to be receiving truly great customer service. I have seen him and great crew make my food exactly how its asked, which for me can be quite detailed). He truly goes above and beyond and he offers a big amount of support in encouraging that his team follow the customer satisfaction path in all ways of truly great service. That says a lot about a person and his team. His number one importance is customer satisfaction with the whole process of ordering and receiving your food as well as being happy with it. I honestly cannot say enough about how great this place has become since he has been there.
That kid truly does deserve recognition from the higher-ups. Give this boy a raise!!!

This is one of the best Marco’s pizza stores in the country! Everything is made from scratch every day. Dough made fresh on site every single day. The cheese is a proprietary blend of three real cheeses. Never frozen. Toppings are prepped every single day. The sauce is mixed on site each and every day. Delicious subs. Tasty salad. Hot wings. Amazing cheesy bread! You’ve gotta love Marco’s pizza!

Pizza was over an hour late, Marcos sent me an email saying my pizza was delivered and they had not even finished making it. We ordered it for a party and spent a lot of money just to have cold pizza and starving guests. This is not the first time it’s happened either, we will not be ordering from here anymore which is so unfortunate, Marcos was a favorite.

We very much enjoyed the pizza. Ours wasn’t greasy as a previous reviewer mentioned, the bottom of the crust could have been crisper for me but that’s subjective. This certainly wasn’t soggy soft like Pizza Hut. Lots of toppings, crust was crispy outside, soft inside, we got the Roma crust, tasty. Every single time someone walked through the door they said, “welcome to Marcos” even when it was a fellow employee which they all had a good laugh about. The other thing that impressed us was the manager was training while we were there and he spoke with all the employees in a respectful manner even when correcting something. They stand by their product- Promise of Delight, If you’re not delighted, tell us. We’ll make it right by you. Great customer service, good pizza, nice atmosphere, clean store. We will definitely be back.

We love this pizza. The crust, the sauce, and the cheese are all fantastic. Coming from Chicago this pizza place was a great find. I also love the coupons that we get and use every Sunday night. The staff is really friendly and always say high when we walk in the door. Great pizza, thank you.

I ordered three pizzas and only two were delivered. So I called the store, spoke with the manager Josh and he explained they are short staffed and it was given to a Dasher to deliver. The Dasher stole one of my pizzas and Josh did offer to refund, but said they were too busy to remake it. Very poor customer service. I work in the service industry as well and know from experience you don’t treat your customers that way if you want to keep them. Even though this store is close to my home, I will not be ordering from them.
