Ordered 2 large pizzas. One large deluxe with LITE crust and one large pepperoni with LIGHT bake. While the large pepperoni was made correctly, the deluxe was regular crust and cooked lightly instead of thin crust and cooked normal. Also, the mushrooms tasted fishy…
For a more expensive pizza place I’d expect better. Save yourself the time and money and go to the Marcos off of 2920.

Was going to pick up an order on the way home. The person who ordered it immediately called back and changed it from delivery to carryout. When I got there, they said it’ll be out in 5 min, then it turned into 10 minutes, then 15min. After standing there for 15 minutes, they say oops I think one of our driver took it. It’s really annoying to waste my time after a 13hr work day.

Update: Today, I went back to give them another chance. This was a mistake . I ordered a deluxe bowl. This item doesn’t have pineapple, and I didn’t add pineapple. Despite this fact, I get home and go to eat it, and it is absolutely filled with pineapple, which I hate. I will not return to this location unless corporate deals with the complete lack of proper training.

Update 7/30/25: Manager contacted me to apologize and give me store credit to give them another chance. I ordered today and received the correct order in a timely manner and the did not put an excessive amount of toppings again so it cooked properly. I bumped the review up to 3 stars for correcting the mistake and getting it right for the 3rd order. If they continue to do well I will add more stars in the future.

I just barely walked into the restaurant. The cashier said “what’s up whatchu want?”. I told him my order. I paid then he walked away. I was just standing there and waiting for my receipt. He came back and he said “what‘s good? What do you need?”. He then gave me my receipt.

The guy in the photo who’s standing outside next to the door was the cashier. He left to go to the gas station store next door.

This was probably the worst costumer service from a cashier that I ever had. He could have at least been respectful. If you don’t have good customer service then don’t work in a customer service job. I was shocked by how I was welcomed into the store and by the service that was given to me.

Plus, everyone is using foul language in the back. This is inappropriate language to use in a work place especially when customers are present.

I am so disappointed and disgusted with my recent experience at Hawkley Texas Marcos Pizza I tried using a valid coupon, and was denied. When placing my order for customizable pizzas, I received the wrong order. The manager refused to correct my order and laughed in my face after I drove back to the store. Additionally, all workers were appeared unhygienic with no gloves, no uniform, and open hair. I left hungry, embarrassed, and frustrated. This level of customer service and professionalism is unacceptable.

Placed a relatively decent sized order online and was quoted a wait time of around 20-30 minutes (totally fine). I get there to pick up, but realize my brother forgot to add a pizza for my sister. The original order is done, but they quote me about 12 minutes for the additional pizza. I wasn’t in a rush so I tell them that’s alright and to take their time.

Anyways, since the wait wasn’t that long I just decided to take a seat in the store rather than going back out to my car. After 15 minutes or so the young man working the registers and answering the phone realizes I’m still there, so he goes to the back and I hear him asking if the pizza they’re working on is for me. I’m a pretty patient person, and I wasn’t in a rush so this was fine.

After they (presumably) tell him no, the young man came up to me to ask what my pizza was – maybe they had lost the ticket or something. No big deal, I work in customer service, so I get it. Mistakes happen. It takes another few minutes to get the pizza out, and up until this point, I’m mildly annoyed, but not annoyed enough to complain.

At least I wasn’t going to until I just got home and started tearing apart the cheese bread to find a long strand of blonde hair (my whole family has black hair) baked INTO the bread. Not on top, but literally IN the bread – I had to pull it out. I’m not even quite sure what to say, and I hate complaining in the first place, but how does that happen? Now i don’t even want to eat the order because that’s literally gross.

I’m not sure what happened to this place, but it has gone downhill fast in the last year! I cannot wait till the new one opens. I hope it’s under a different management team and owners. Food is always delivered cold and way later than the tracker says it will be. Apologies are one thing, actions are definitely what is needed. Simon’s pizza is not as good but it is always delivered on time and very hot and fresh.

Just received the greasiest pizza known to man. After calling the store, the girl in charge at the time refused to view the posted photo of the pizza and just wanted to be defensive, stating it was because I ordering the Lite crust. After 15 minutes, she decided to offer me store credit or a new pizza, but the customer service I received and quality assurance at this store is atrocious.

Stay away from the Lite crust, unless you would be satisfied with the pizza in the attached photo.

Love Marco’s Pizza and never had an issue at other locations. The pizza bowls I ordered and paid extra cheese for had so little cheese I could see the bottom of the container and it was burned; it is not like the other bowls I have purchased from other locations. Additionally, the wait was extremely long for prepaid pickup as everyone at the counter was focused on the phone and not the line of people waiting in the lobby.
