This place is amazing! The pizza is good but the salads, chicken wings and brownies are amazing! Tonight I had an issue with DoorDash (NOT MARCOS) and shout out to ELIZA for handling the issue with absolute professionalism and was willing to remake the order for me and throw in some free brownies since DoorDash stole my order. So Don, I see you man, you’re awesome and thank you for helping out with this situation!

Be careful ordering
Used to be my family’s go-to pizza, but not anymore. This is the first time something pretty bad has happened, and the pizza tasted decent so I gave 2 stars. Service at the register is fine too.
I do have a sensitive stomach so it never bothered me much when the pizza wouldn’t sit too well, but my family ordered 2 medium pizzas and seemed to have gotten minor food poisoning. Fever, vomiting, indigestion. I know it was from the pizza because we’re a busy household and dinner is sometimes the only meal we share. The sickness only lasted about 24 hours for everyone affected, then we were fine again. Maybe this was a one-time thing. Like I said, this is the first time we’ve had a major issue, but this is not an issue one wants to go through at all.

Never been here before today. Let’s start this off. Customer service was great. Felt like home. Then we get the pizza. Piping hot fresh out the oven. Amazing crust. The sauce was fantastic. It was so flavorful, perfect amount of cheese and meat. Overall everything just worked so well. I had to write a review and I never do that. This place is blowing every other pizza place from here to Manhattan out of the water. Keep it up guys

I want to start off by saying that we love Marcos and normally have a pleasant experience. 2 weeks ago, we ordered pizza for our kids so my wife and I could have a date night. Our carryout order was “promised” at 5:50 and we didn’t get our pizza until 6:35. Please don’t put a promised time if you can’t or won’t keep that time. Giving them another chance, we ordered pizza and breadsticks tonight for carry-out. I received a call from Marcos notifying me that they cut my pizza wrong but would redo my order and that it would take a little longer to complete. At first, I was impressed with their professionalism and knew everything would be made right. Boy, was I wrong! I showed up 15 min later, had a pleasant exchange with the employee, left a tip, and headed for home (3 min away). When I got home and opened the boxes, I was suddenly disappointed to see what was sitting in them. My pizzas were lacking toppings and had a “rubbery” feel. I am led to believe that they didn’t mess up my original order (cut square with garlic crust) and instead were running behind and trying to buy time. Please do better, Marcos! We love your pizza (normally) and want to continue to patronize your location but will not do it if this is the service we will receive. We wanted pizza tonight, so we didn’t have to cook because of the pending severe weather, but ended up having to prepare a meal anyway due to the quality of the pizza. My kids managed to choke down a couple of slices, but that was all.

Ordered from Marcos a long time ago and was impressed. Tried them again this past Friday and it still was great. A bit TOO thick but cheese and sauce as well as the toppings were on point. Excellent quality. Will order from them again.

I am honestly shocked at how poorly this Marco’s location is operating, and after tonight, I feel compelled to share my full experience. I placed an order at 5:50 PM, expecting a reasonable delivery time like any normal customer would. By 8:10 PM, we still had nothing. No updates. No warnings. No courtesy call. Nothing.
When we finally called the store, we were casually told it would be at least another 30 minutes before the driver even got back, not before my food was delivered, but before the driver returned to the store. That alone is unacceptable. But what makes it worse is that we weren’t told this when the order was placed. If you know you are running hours behind, why not put a notice on the app or alert customers before they pay? A 3-hour wait for pizza is ridiculous, and honestly, disrespectful of your customers’ time.
To make matters even more frustrating, the employee who answered the phone said our order was “sitting here waiting on the driver.” So now I know not only am I waiting an absurd amount of time, but the pizza I’m craving, while pregnant, has been sitting out who knows how long. Cold? Stale? Soggy? I paid for fresh food, not something that’s been sitting on a counter for over an hour. It completely defeats the purpose of delivery when your food is prepared long before there is anyone available to deliver it.
And unfortunately, this isn’t some isolated incident. On Halloween, we had another negative experience that I let go at the time, but after today, it clearly reflects a pattern. The store was packed, people were waiting out the door, and instead of employees working efficiently to help customers, several were standing around in the lobby with their children, just chatting, or standing outside talking to friends. I understand family is important but I also understand professionalism and responsibility. When customers are waiting, staff should be working, not socializing. I cannot imagine any job where employees are allowed to just hang out during a rush.
Tonight was the final straw. Between the lack of communication, the poor management, the fact that my food is sitting out long before it will ever be delivered, and the repeated issues I’ve now experienced at this location, I am beyond disappointed. I’m upset, frustrated, and genuinely surprised that a national chain allows one of its stores to operate this way.
I truly hope management takes these concerns seriously because this store desperately needs better staffing, better organization, and most importantly, better respect for its customers. Right now, I cannot recommend this location to anyone, and I won’t be ordering from here again unless major improvements are made.

Marco’s Pizza hits that sweet spot for a chain pizza joint. I grabbed a pepperoni with hot honey, and it was exactly what you’d hope for – reliably decent. Nothing mind-blowing, but consistently good, and the hot honey added a nice kick to the classic pepperoni. If you’re looking for solid, no-surprises pizza, Marco’s delivers.
Edit: This location has gone downhill significantly lately. 2 orders back to back of cold pizza and disappointment.

Was in Junction City to go to Family Buffet and decided to grab a pizza for on the way home to Salina. I I was having a craving for a Marco’s Pizza . Pizza! They closed the Marco’s Pizza in Salina so this is one of the closest ones if you want Marcos. The staff even though they were busy we’re very friendly and attentive and they were able to get my medium cheese pizza order correct and done. And they were even filling big orders for Dodge City Athletics that were coming by and had a big gigantic order. They were able to get their orders and my order right. Hats off to Marco’s they are in very ambitious crew and they got they got the job done and the pizza was very good too made to order. When I come by here to Junction City I will visit this one cuz I had a craving for Marco’s Pizza but like I said they closed the one in Salina. If I could give him 10 Stars I would!
