Saddest meatball sub I’ve ever seen. Each “meatball” was cut into 3rd of the regular size of a meatball. Love the taste but for what you pay I would not get it again.

My fiancé and I had a Valentines weekend getaway from Columbus down here in KY. He actually became my fiancé Friday night when he asked me to marry him. So this is a big weekend for us! We went to the Newport Aquarium for Valentine’s Day and wanted to come back to our hotel room and order some local food. After searching and reading reviews we chose Marco’s Pizza. Our order was over $50 plus a 20% tip. Watching the tracker on my phone, I see they’re on the way. I get a strange number call my phone. I answer and the person on the other line says, “this is Marcos, can you come down?” At first I didn’t understand them they were talking so fast. After they repeated what they said I told them my fiancé would be down. He gets back and my pizza bowl, which didn’t have a lid on it, had slid in the pizza box it was inside and half of the contents were out on the pizza box. I was able to save most of it but not the point. The salad I ordered came with fat free dressing when it wasn’t labeled that on the website. The chef salad had a big slice of salami and two big slices of provolone cheese on top of the lettuce. They didn’t provide a knife so I tore them into smaller pieces. My fiancé’s buffalo chicken pizzoti had no buffalo sauce. We never complain about service and I do not ever make bad reviews but this had to be done. After leaving a 20% tip and seeing several food delivery people coming in and going straight to the room , we expected them to deliver to our door. That’s why we ordered delivery and we were exhausted from a busy day. Just a very disappointing experience considering this weekend was so special for us. We do not recommend and will not order from Marcos pizza again when we come back to visit. My final bill was almost $70, more than we had spent the night before at a magnificent Mexican restaurant!! ♀️

I love the build your own pizza option. The thin crust is great and it feels much healthier eating pizza! Chicken and pineapple topping combination is so good. I think the $6.99 medium pizza deal is great for the quality of their pizza! It was ready very quickly as well.

Just had my online order canceled because I was paying in cash and they were understaffed. I get there and they play stupid like I cancelled my own order to drive over there for no reason. Then act like it’s a problem to make me a pizza… They tell me 7 minutes to get my order done and it takes 20+. Now I know why I stopped coming to this terrible aas place. Way better service and way better pizza elsewhere.

It’s unfortunate I have to give Marco’s such a bad rating, but they earned it. The pizza is good when it gets to you fresh. Sadly, it never does. The company uses DoorDash for drivers, which means that your order sits around getting cold and gross waiting for a driver to show up…eventually. The Door Dash drivers don’t have warm bags, so your soggy cold order continues to get more disgusting as the driver takes even more time to get it to you. If you call to complain, the very nice employee tells you it’s not their problem that Door Dash is so late, but if you want to come to the store, they’ll give you a replacement. Thanks, I guess. I mean, I ordered delivery for a reason, but whatever. I hope they turn it around, but I’d be surprised if this location lasts much longer running this way.

Absolute worst experience! Placed an online order, OVER AN HOUR BEFORE THEY CLOSED. Monitored my order through their tracker before the online tracker simply disappeared and would no longer work. I called to find out where my order was and they had closed over a half hour prior. No phone call, no message, no email, absolutely nothing. Just simply took my order and money, and did not even attempt to fulfill it. NEVER AGAIN.
Update: My wife stopped on her way home from work to see what the hold up could be. Our order was sitting on the counter. There were people inside. They REFUSED to open the door and give the food. Stated they would only provide it if she was doordash or uber. Seriously?!?!?!
