Truly blown away at some of the 1 star reviews. We have been eating at this Marcos since it opened and we now love pizza night again. We are hard on reviewing restaurants and this easily one of our go to. Love the pizza, we also really enjoy the wings – the garlic parm . The food is always prepared correctly, warm and always taste good. We do not understand how there isn’t a Marcos on every block. It’s like they took the good qualities from papa John’s and dominos and made a better pizza.

Never again will I eat this pizza!!! When my pizza got here the bottom off the box was COVERED in grease, my pepperoni was dang near as hard as bacon bits and the pizza was so DOUGHY! When I called to talk to manager he basically told me it was supposed to be that greasy and doughy and that I needed to ask for well done next time. $20 for a pizza with 8 slices, burnt toppings and doughy crust. They also were supposed to have the order ready at 8:40 and at 9:05 it was finally ready. Smh never again

The manager & team at this Marco’s Pizza location on Taylorsville Rd. provided me excellent customer service. They were kind and treated customers with respect. The pizza, salad, and wings are delicious and accommodated my add-ons. Highly recommend!

RUN TO DOMINOS, PAPA JOHNS, WICKS or any pizza place other than this Marcos Pizza!! Consider yourself warned.
On December 23, 2025 at 1:15p, we placed an order for 6 large pizzas and 1 extra large pizza for pickup at 5:30p. As the crowd was arriving at our home, at 5:15p we received a call from a Marcos Pizza employee telling us that they WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO FILL OUR ORDER. His reason was that they were overwhelmed with online orders. Seriously?? They had had our order for 4 hours and all of the sudden decided they couldn’t fill it?!? The customer service at this place is HORRIBLE!! Needless to say, we will never call Marcos Pizza again.
As far as our party food… Dominos took our order and had it ready for pickup in 20 minutes!!

Update August 2025… Quality of the pizza has gone down significantly, course like any other pizza place it depends on who’s making them, but I’ll tell you,…it’s gone from good to bad to worse. If you get the wrong guys making your pizza, You’re better off going to Domino’s, Bearnos, any place but here.
I never give five stars for food or service (see my previous reviews), but I got to tell you, we eat a lot of pizza, sometimes we pay $40 to $50 for a single pizza… we paid $13 and change today for the five cheese extra large…. I’ve been eating pizza for close to six decades and this was perfect in every way: First, the crust/dough – fluffy, light, full of flavor and just the perfect thickness, Second, the sauce – wow, thick, rich, full of flavor and herbs and just the perfect pizza sauce, Lastly, the five cheeses – if you love cheese and you love flavorful cheeses, this is a great, great pizza. And it was perfectly cooked just the right amount of crunchiness on the crust and topping. Our frig is full of cheeses from all over the world and these are excellent quality cheeses, flavorful, gooey and the GM – great young man, great service, we will be back!

I want to give Marco’s a five star review.
The pizza came out of the oven as I walked through the door. The sauce and toppings were fresh and delicious. The crust, omg, the crust was sublime.
What did I not like about this pizza? The cheese.
Oh my God, the cheese is such a strong blend of foul smelling Romano and or Parmesan cheese that completely ruined it for me. I can usually handle pretty much anything, but, not this. Got through two slices and tossed the rest in the circle-file.
Most people probably don’t notice or care about this. But for those of use sensitive to things that smell like feces or vomit, a mozzarella-only option would be a godsend.
UPDATE: Sent a comment to Marco’s corporate after posting this review, have not heard back.
Two family members who actually don’t mind any kind of cheese tried the second pizza we purchased on this order. Both commented it was a little strong, one could not finish hers. I am sure this place will do fine and keep expanding, but, I think the cheese option will be off-putting for many people. I know many folks who either don’t like cheese in general or are sensitive to the ‘stronger’ more ‘poop’ smelling cheeses so if you’re one of those, you’ll want to consider that before ordering here.

Phil, the manager just hung up on me bc I called to report that the two pizzas delivered to my house were not what I ordered. When I first called the employee told me that the manager was not in the store and to call back in 15 minutes. I called back and spoke with this horrible manager Phil who denied that he wasn’t in the store when I called the first time and was really there just somehow the only other employee in the store was mistaken and he was really in the bathroom the whole time. Then he told me that the problem was with me and that he made them correctly. I am a very frequent customer and order the same thing everytime. Phil just lost his store a very loyal customer.
Follow up. Received link from owner that takes me to a broken Marcos web page. This just keeps getting worse. This was my favorite go to pizza place, not any more. Thanks to Phil!
