Been ordering pizza from here about every two weeks for the past 18 months. Pizza is fine and the delivery guys….. we have gotten to know and like.
Last Friday I placed an order online at around 4:15 to be delivered at 5:30 to feed 18 people. Called the store about 5:25 when I realized I hadn’t received an order confirmation email. Female manager sounded frantic and flustered……. she confirmed they had my order and said it wasn’t arriving on time. She wasn’t sure if the order had been started or not. As I was struggling to figure out how to proceed, while staring at 18 hungry people expecting pizza in the next five minutes, she hung up the phone on me without resolution.
I called back and spoke to another female manager. She claims the other manager said I was rude and mocked her when I was actually just confused and not sure how to proceed with the order. This second manager took the time to find a status of my order which was….not started and no idea when it would be started or when it would be delivered. I asked her to cancel my order. She said OK and rudely hung up on me. No apologies and zero care about customer service.
The lack of courtesy and concern…well….but the fact that alleged “managers” would rudely hang up on a customer…… well that is just unforgivable. Whoever owns this establishment……. Recommend retraining your leadership team to get them focused on customer service and emphasis on care of your customers….. Those so called “managers”…….. just wow……never been treated worse. I will never be back and will make sure all my neighbors and friends in Farragut know how poorly customers are treated at this establishment.

I placed an order at 5pm on Halloween. By 7:40pm it was still not delivered to our home. I called to ask what was going on and the woman who answered said we quoted you 1hr and 30 min (my quote was 70 min) and it’s leaving the shop now. I said it’s been 2 hrs and 40 min. She was very short with me and ended our conversation with “you should have patience with us and you could have made your own meal at home”. I had patience for over 2 and a half hours, it’s the attitude I do not have patience with. Will never order from the Farragut Marcos again. Got our pizza from Dominos within 28 min. I had 13 boys I was trying to feed pizza to prior to trick or treating.

We ordered a pizza and 10 piece boneless wings. When we got home and opened the wings there were 4 normal size pieces and 5 very small pieces which were likely mostly breading. When we returned to the store I was told by the manager “this is what Marcos sends us in a bag”. My wife questioned the manager about using some discretion on what they serve for $12.99. The manager made no effort to correct the issue and immediately got confrontational and said would refund our money and I would have to leave immediately. Attached is a picture of the paltry order. The pizza was good.
Update December 2024: Followed up as the manager suggested at the Marco’s website. I never heard anything back.

12/30/25 Just a follow up almost a month later. I submitted my contact info as requested (for the 2d time) and there has been no response from management/ ownership of Marcos in Farragut.
Quite clear customer satisfaction and care is not a concern of the leadership of this establishment. We will never support this establishment and will always warn our Fox Run Neighbors about the low quality food and horrendous service and management.

Management responded publicly here on google but NOT when I used the link in their response and provided my contact info and requested feedback.
I have heard nothing from Marcos ….. wondering if management cares about their customers……… showing me they don’t……. IMHO……Marcos does not deserve to be supported by our wonderful community.
Now seeing Amanda’s review I see management’s response is “canned”…….good use of Chat GPT or some other AI mechanism while not really listening to your customers…..
I respectufully warn all my Farragut neighbors about how terribly this establishment treats their customers.

The one star has been developing over the years. First off, I tip drivers, I tip well. I was a driver, too. So last night she said, “80 minutes for delivery.” I say “80 minutes?” She says, “Well maybe not 80 minutes.” I live 5 minutes away… in 20 minutes this mess shows up. I’m still not sure how it has the ingredients I ordered and is room temperature cold, scab cheese. I think I’m done with you, Marco’s. This ain’t the first time. Imagine this pizza, absolutely room temperature… delivered in 15-20 minutes.

This was the worst customer service ever, I am in the hospitality industry as a GM for a local restaurant and I would have never talked to or even allow anyone of my manager’s to talk to a customer like the so-called managers who work for you do. So where do I begin, how about the young unprofessional lady who answered your phone who kept getting rude with me and told me ” you either take the pizza as it is or we will bring it back” even after I already paid for it on line then hung up me. When I first ordered the pizza your website told me it would be here at 6:23pm when I called the 1st time and was on hold for over 7 minutes 25 seconds your employee started to just get rude and rude and rude. Then said in a very unprofessional way that she basically didn’t even care about my order. All I want was to know where my dinner was, I wasn’t looking to hear any type of excuses in such a once again unprofessional manner. Now after she hung up on me the first time I did call back and I did ask her for her name , I really don’t care about her last name just her first name because at this point I was going to call in a complain about her. Your manager in a very rude and unprofessional voice said ” I don’t have to give you my name” she also stated that her sister was the GM and she has told us that we don’t have to give are names. Completely understandable I mean if I was action childishly why would I want anyone to know my name and call in on me. Now the third time I called back I will admit I myself was not very polite I even cursed at her, maybe not my finest moment but after being treated like a piece of dirt by your employee’s I was fired up.. and once again your employee’s/manager’s acted even more horrible to the point that my daughter could hear them. Now comes the good part even your Delivery Driver was rude and sarcastic but at least she gave me her name and title, Jessie a manager. Yes my pizza was cold when we finally got it, it basically tasted like garbage. Crazy but I work in south Knoxville, I deal homeless people, drug addicts and tourist. But my EMP is in the green my Manager’s and Crew act extremely professional even when we are faced with tough times and have customer’s who can be hard to deal with. But l do coach my crew to act like professionals with a over the top customer service attitude, something that I did not experience with your company today. I would expect more from a business in West Knoxville..I really hope that someone of authority contacts me and will make this right. I have always said great things about Marcos and especially this store. I don’t feel like that will ever happen again.
