Unfortunately, I didn’t realize Marco’s “well done” meant burnt. I was expecting a firm, well cooked crust, on the crispier side. I received a brick that tasted burnt. When to attempting eat, the cheese slid off of the crust and left behind a solid piece of bread. The thick edge was inedible. Picture below is one of the pizzas. Just a heads up for others with the desire for a well done crust. I will give the store credit because they remade our pizzas to make this right but they didn’t offer to re-deliver.

I had to leave a review for this Marco’s Pizza location because of how they handled a mistake on my order.

They got something wrong with our pizza — which happens from time to time anywhere — but what stood out was how the owner handled it. No excuses. No attitude. Just immediate ownership of the issue and a genuine desire to make it right. They remade the order quickly and went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of.

That kind of customer service is rare.

Let’s be clear — this isn’t a New York-style corner slice shop or some high-end artisan pizza place. It’s a chain pizza spot. But for a chain, this location does things right. The food is consistently good, the staff is friendly, and most importantly, they stand by what they serve.

Mistakes can happen anywhere. How a business responds is what matters. This Marco’s location proved they care about their customers and their reputation.

We’ll definitely be back.

We stopped by the Holly Springs Marco’s because my kids were hungry and we decided to give it a try. From the moment we walked in, the experience was so pleasant. Raji, who helped us at the register, was incredibly kind and welcoming. She suggested a vegetarian pizza for us to try along with the cheesy bread, and we’re so glad we listened to her recommendation.

Raji made sure our order came out quickly, which was much appreciated with hungry kids. The pizza and cheesy bread were both fresh, hot, and delicious. She also thoughtfully provided napkins and parmesan cheese and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.

My kids really enjoyed the food and kept talking about how good it was on the way home. Great service, great food, and a genuinely warm experience. We will definitely be back.

This is the 2nd time this has happened. First time, I put in my order for delivery and an hour goes by and I have no update. I called the location and they said their driver just isn’t there yet but it would be there soon. Long story short they never initiated the door dash order so I had to go pick up the pizza myself and I lost my tip to a door dasher for nothing and received 2 hour old food that was cold. I complained then and the manager said he gave me a credit, but never actually applied anything to my account. After contacting him 2 more times he still never gave me a credit so I left it alone. Then last night I order delivery again, sure enough door dash doesn’t even start heading to the store till 45 minutes after the pizza is already done. I get my food super late, and it’s cold and my order is wrong. Got these nasty burnt bbq wings when I ordered the sweet Thai chili. For whatever reason, my wife and I have had a bad stomach ache since we ate this pizza also. I thought it had to be something else but as soon as it went away and I ate some for leftovers today, I got sick again.

Do not order delivery from this location. On multiple occasions we have ordered delivery, been told 30 minutes and 1-1.5 hours go by. We finally receive cold pizza and 3/3 of the last times it has been incorrect. When we try to speak with the manager we are told they will remake the pizza but I would have to pick it up, which negates the purpose of the delivery – which between tip and delivery fee is an additional $10, that we lose and the inconvenience of getting the pizza. We were told in the past that they’d give us a store credit, never appears. We were told they’d give us a refund by cancelling the order but they don’t know how long that’ll take and somehow that never actually occurs. We ended up having to handle it directly with our credit card to get our money back. The person we tried to talk to said it wasn’t their problem, it was a door dash problem but we didn’t order through door dash so they’re unable to do anything. The cheap pizza isn’t worth the headache – either go in person or find somewhere else. We will not give them another penny of our money.

I placed an order on saturday around 5 :15pm. I was told it would be 30 minutes. One hour later (6:15) I was told it was out for delivery. After waiting a total of 2hours from order to delivery it showed up and was cold. We had a person from from Marcos on the phone and he a struggled to understand the situation. I gave the delivery person back the pizzas and told him I will not except them. The person on the phone tried to tell me they could not refund me my money a since I paid online. I told him they need to figure out something because I am not paying for it. They eventually cancelled the order and my husband and myself ended up having to go find a pizza place open (mellow mushroom). Will not be using them again….pizza is good but only if it is hot and definitely not worth the long wait and hassle.
