I heard about this place from two friends in the culinary world and it was on my list. I came in around eight on a Thursday night, it was really quiet with a few people in the whole place. I had their broasted chicken which came highly recommended and I wasn’t a fan. The meat itself didn’t seem seasoned through and the breast was too dry to my liking. The coating was very crispy and delicious, but to me, it was too salty. The service was fantastic! I parked on the street around the corner, not sure if I missed the parking lot.

Marco Polo is a fun sports bar that veers into the dive-y aesthetic. Service was reasonably quick and I appreciated the fair prices across the menu. The real highlight was the absolutely delicious broasted chicken. I’ve never had fried chicken like that, and I will 100% be back for more!

A good dive‑bar fried chicken doesn’t need fanfare, and this place proves it. The basket shows up golden, craggy, and perfectly crisp, with juicy meat that hits all the comforting, no‑nonsense flavors you want. You get 3 pieces and $2 additional per piece and we ordered 5 pieces. I forgot to take a picture before we devoured 3 pieces. The fried pickles are on point as you dip it in ranch dressing! Pair that with dim lights, cold beer, and the roar of whatever game’s on, and you’ve got the ideal setup for messy fingers, loud cheers, and seriously satisfying chicken. Get there early to snag a table on big game days!

This spot is a local watering hole – bigger than a hole in the wall but small. as an honest reviewer, i also don’t go to bars expecting outstanding service or food for that matter, I go for drinks and as long as the line isn’t absurdly long, I’m good with it. I even don’t mind slower service as I’m usually with friends just chatting it up.
All that being said, Marco Polo doesn’t lack in any category. The service isn’t over the top by any means but its never slow, the folks that work there are pretty straight forward and gets stuff done no matter how busy it gets.
I go for ice cold beer and broasted chicken. The seasoning is always spot on and the meat is always juicy. It does take some time to get it to table as it’s made to order – so come ready to drink before you’re ready to eat!
I’ve also enjoyed their nachos as they use that good creamy cheese, like actual nacho cheese and the burgers are simple but nothing to scoff at.

Because it’s further out the way for me, I wouldn’t consider myself a regular by any means but I have been coming here for well over 10 years and it never disappoints when I do.

One of The best sports bars in town. Eclectic mix of patrons- always welcoming, freindly and passionate fans. Great beer selection , superb viewing angles and lots of places to sit. Staff are the best and the food is great.

Went there tonight and it was packed since it was football playoffs. We had outstanding service, Everytime a glass got close to empty someone came to ask if we wanted a refill. The food was outstanding as well. I ordered a custom made sandwich and even though they were crazy busy it came out hot and exactly as I ordered. Love this experience. Will be back!

When visiting Georgetown- this is a must go to. They pressure fry cook their chicken and it is absolutely amazingly delicious! Never dry and not super duper oily either. You get to add an extra piece of chicken for $2.00. They have you pick a side of french fries, Jo-Jos, Coleslaw, mac or potato salad. You can substitute Chili, onion rings or a side salad for $3.00. The 3 piece basket is $16.50. A killer deal in my opinion.

We got the Marco Polo pub pretzel with spicy queso and mustard- it was huge for 4 people and the fried mushrooms which are always one of my favorites. They were sadly out of gizzards- so I just ended up getting an extra piece of chicken with my order tonight.

Service is good- even on busier nights. They have 3 people waiting on tables, a bar back and a Chef in the kitchen. Always friendly and kind.

Can get busy and loud in there as it gets later in the evening. We shared a table with other folks who were nice and had small talk with.

Parking is sometimes hard to find- but it’s honestly worth the walk once you do find parking available. Lots of good beers on tap and a good variety of drinks to be had.

Really enjoyed Marco Polo on Halloween night with a group of my friends. We had a pitcher of good beer and an assortment of well cooked food. There was karaoke at 9pm and the Emcee was lively and fun. The place was a little slow when we came in but as the music played and people started to loosen up it was a really good time! I’ll have to head back to see what another night offers there!
