We had an evening meal here. Two starters, pate and salmon were very nice. For the mains, my steak was delicious, but the other plate ordered was a Christmas dinner and it was underwhelming. One roast potato, one carrot, one parsnip, 4 watery, partly boiled sprouts, and a a small piece of dried out stuffing.
Please ask the staff not to say ‘enjoy’ constantly.

What a fabulous anniversary celebration we had! The staff were so friendly, and we loved being greeted with a ‘Happy Anniversary’ along with complimentary desserts — such a nice touch! Every dish we tried was delicious, especially the seared scallops and the fillet steak, which were spot on. The atmosphere was great, and the service impeccable, making our night truly special. Can’t wait to return!

Amazing food and service all around. We were here for a 1 day stay at the hilton adjacent, and decided to have lunch on our first day.
The manager was very welcoming and explained everything to us, had our menu options and all extras already correct for us, and even added a little something for my wifes birthday. A great start to the day. It got even better, as our server was Abigail, I have to say she was exemplary, her manners, attention throughout as the restaurant initially was not busy but got very busy within the hour her service levels did not drop, they got even better
Her calm and helpful manner is very much appreciated, she really put a smile on our faces, nothing was too much for her. We have been to many restaurants and hilton hotels internationally, and this experience really stood out.
We were so happy to know that breakfast for hilton guests was being managed by marco pierre team, and we again had great service, we had a great intro and walk through of the options, the manager remember my wifes birthday again and asked how we were.

unfortunately this was a bit of a flop. The camembert was definitely not actually camembert and was not gooey at all 🙁 the service was good but it took ages to get the bill. The lady serving us was very nice though and in fairness this doesn’t reflect on her, she was great, just hard to get hold of. All in all, overpriced for what it was. The steak was fine but definitely not worth £35!!!! In my opinion, go elsewhere for finer dining.

It was a nice atmosphere and the staff were wonderful. But I got the ribeye and was very under whelmed. The steak was cooked right but the cut of the meat was so tough. This is my first time here and I’ve had better steaks at a pub for a 1/3rd of the price.

Awful experience! We waited over 1 hour 15 minutes for our food. We Ordered the festive tomahawk steak with all the trimmings, when brought out it was the just regular tomahawk (which was small and mainly fat). Queried what we had received compared to what we ordered and the young waitress asked the manager who claimed it was the festive tomahawk (despite it missing the trimmings and festive sauces it should have come with). Before we had the chance to speak to the manager ourselves, she had disappeared and did not return for the next hour we were in the restaurant. After our meal we checked with the waitress we had ordered with, who then told us “no the chefs messed up and sent the regular out, as it was new to the menu”. The manager was nowhere to be seen, after lying to us, when this problem arose, just a lot of young waitresses. We also ordered a bottle of water for the table with the manager upon being seated. We did not receive it, but were still charged for it. During our visit a number of tables around us received an item or two on their bill complimentary as a gesture of good will with it being the festive period, however there were no offers for us, who had nothing but a nightmare our whole visit! I complained at the desk when checking out of the Hilton this morning, she was disgusted with how the situation had been dealt with and was going to pass it on to her manager. I have also tried ringing today to speak to a manager, however the phone just keeps ringing.
Definitely not worth the money we spent there!

Despite the horrible reviews I’ve seen, I thought maybe people are just having a bubble and it can’t be as bad. I was hopeful to have a lovely experience but boy was I mistaken and previous reviews are bang on. I was staying at the hotel and had a table booked as part of a package and was seated in a really nice area, great little wall hangings and pictures. The atmosphere surroundings and decorations were to a high standard, the table was clean and the wall lights with dim lighting were a nice touch. I ordered my drink which came out in a flash, and the service overall was bang on, very attentive and accommodating. However when the food arrived, my streak requested medium rare was cremated, I hate sending food back and don’t wish to be that person but because of the enormous price, I couldn’t justify chucking money away. When I had sent it back, the waitress proceeded to tell me the cheeky chef had said I was mistaken and would I consider eating it because he had cut into it and determined it was medium rare, sure friend, even if it’s obviously cremated. It’s the first place I’ve ever had to send steak back, so that wasn’t very jolly. I was then told it would take 25 minutes for another steak to be made, which then arrived 30 minutes later. The second steak was like charcoal on the outside and tough, though had been cooked to what I had requested in the first place, hallelujah, but left half the steak because it was like sandpaper in my gob, tough and like eating a rock. Overall, very disappointing and 100% not worth the money.

Every restaurant in a hotel benefits from a steady flow of hotel guests who don’t want to drive for dinner. When you feel like they’re taking advantage of you for it, it leaves a bad taste in your mouth.
The staff were friendly and professional, but we had to flag them down more than once. My wife’s steak didn’t come with a steak knife.
The food was decent, but the prices were not. I love good food, and am happy to pay for a great meal. These prices started to reach a pain threshold. £15 for a Mac and cheese that needed salt and pepper. £19.50 for a burger and small serving of chips.
The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the space has a nice vibe, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you don’t want to feel hosed.

My partner and I tried this restaurant out despite the appalling reviews online (we like to make our own judgement and write our own grounded and honest reviews).
Marco Pierre White – an absolute no go! I would not recommend it to anyone.
Famous for its steaks but shamelessly let down by people that don’t know how to cook a steak. Both ordered our steaks Medium and they both arrived very well done.
We tried the starters, mains, desserts, cocktails and wines. The only things that tasted nice were the drinks and desserts. They were delightful. Service in the restaurant was very very disappointing, staff are rude, irritable. Some customer service training is definitely needed.
Breakfast was shockingly bad, ignored by staff, cold food and missing items off the plate. Very disappointing and such a basic thing to get right.
The only thing that was nice was the little conservatory/terrace to the restaurant for seating. The roof opens & closes.
For the price, I definitely wouldn’t recommend this restaurant nor would I go back.
