I had got the breaded chicken sandwich for $5 with grilled onions n put way too much, the bread was soft when i asked for grilled.. the tater tots for $4 as well, was okay more seasoning would have been nice, charged extra for sauce. Overall service was great. I wish they did not bring politics to this small business!

Current update on the breakfast and the service we received last time we ate here. My wife and I were in Town and decided to stop again for breakfast. My to our surprise and disappointment the breakfast menu changed. Was a bit confusing and when we asked about the new menu our waitress was less than helpful and not very friendly. Our food was just not that good either. Our waitress spent more time looking at her phone and didn’t seem concerned that we were out of coffee and water. It seemed that the atmosphere was very different than the other times we visited I hope they realize we’re not the only people that noticed the change in service and the quality of the food. Sorry but for now we’re going to try the other restaurant next time for breakfast. Maybe they will focus on service over Facebook. I’m changing my review.
Visited for the first time. Wife and I got breakfast. I got the working boy platter and got the Country platter. Good breakfast food. Big portions for the price! Only negative was my gravy was not real warm. Other than that great experience. The inside has been redone and looks fabulous. Highly recommend if you haven’t tried their breakfast. Had great service and plan to return.

Reading the other reviews it amazes me that people says this is such a friendly place of business. Maybe it just depends on who you are. I visited yesterday, which was my second trip here, wasn’t to impressed the first visit, and sure wasn’t on my second visit. My sister and I both ordered the chicken strip dinner, which stated it came with fries or Cole slaw and a side salad. My sister ask if she could get fried mushrooms instead of fries and said she didn’t care to pay extra for upgrading to the mushrooms, and it still should have came with the salad, so we thought, I ordered the same thing she did. The price for the dinner was $11.00 best to my memory, our food came out and we both got 2 chicken strips each, 8 or 9 mushrooms and no salad, and was charged $9.50 for it. I took a picture before I ate any of it. The 2 times I’ve been here, I have not met any of the friendly staff members or owner that the other reviews talk about.

Ordered the chicken strips and a mushroom Swiss burger which were both very bland. Pretty sure the majority of their menu is pre made food from places like restaurant depot which does not justify the prices. Very forgettable place and you should take your money elsewhere.

Darn shame because I was hoping for more. Food (hamburger steak dinner) was just average although a good price. Service was TERRIBLE! Young girl was more interested in talking to her friends than waiting on us. Never came back to check on us for refills. Took almost 30 minutes and another waitress/manager to notice our food hadn’t been delivered. We actually left NO TIP (I don’t do that). Nice,clean place, nicely decorated. Needs a good manager and better staff.
