For Persians: This is not Fesenjoon! If you think you’re lucky enough to find your favorite Persian dish in Memphis, don’t fall for it. The food was not bad it was ok and the service and environment was great, but words have meanings, you cannot just call a dish, something it is not. This is probably my last visit to this restaurant! One of the best Italian restaurants in Memphis without a doubt. We had the chicken parmigiana, salmon, and seafood manicotti and all were amazing. The bread and pesto were also fantastic. Service and atmosphere were just like the food – perfect. We went at 8:00 pm and were able to get a table without a reservation, but can see how a reservation would be helpful during “normal” dinner hours. There are a dozen or so tables which makes the atmosphere perfect for a very nice meal. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for great Italian food.

Best Italian I’ve had in a long time! I had the lasagna bolognese, which was a daily special. Then a cappuccino after dinner. The free bread and pesto were amazing. Super amazing service and atmosphere.

We found this hidden gem googling date night restaurants for my birthday dinner! ☺ love love love everything from the staff to the service to the decor and the food!!! Let me say I’ve never tasted pesto sauce…. Their homemade pesto sauce was to die for!! I believe they sell it I’m definitely buying some next time we go! There were only 2 things… 1 it was super quiet! Needs some soft music playing..could have been because it was like 2 hours before closing but they didn’t mind us playing some music on our phone! 2 there were bits of shell in my lump crab stuffed manicotti… My husband said “hey at least you know it’s real crab”!

First time here, wasn’t packed, but the atmosphere was lively. Got seated pretty quickly and even had a candle lit for me. I order some white wine, a little too sour for my taste. I got the crab cakes as an appetizer, only complaint was that it had a little too much cilantro. I was also given some bread and pesto while I waited for my food. Can’t say it was anything too special, but it was pretty good. As my entree, I got the 2nd veal item on the menu, I can’t recall the name, but I ended up having to get it to go. I didn’t mind the angel hair pasta until it was covered in all the super oily and salty juice from the mozzarella cheese and the white wine sauce I believe. The broccoli was good, but it sucked up all that oily juice, wasn’t very good after that. The prosciutto was good after picking it off the veal and taking off all the mozzarella cheese, I had to pat the mozzarella down as well to be able to taste the cheese, was pretty good after that. It was an okay dining experience.

I’m super excited to review this restaurant. It is a hidden gem with the best food. Staff is always pleasant and friendly. The cook is consistent with his cooking. They start with bread and pesto, always crabcakes for appetizer. Entrees are fye, and drinks are great. The atmosphere is perfect for a date night. Or, a quiet getaway.
