It doesn’t look like much from the outside and the decor is a bit dated, but you won’t notice that at all once your food is in front of you. Everything I have had has been absolutely delicious. Great desserts, too! My family stops by every time we are in town, it’s always the highlight of our visits!

This place has a new owner. It’s now called Ed the Beachcomber. The raw oysters were great, and the gumbo was pretty good too. Prices a little above average. Good attentive service. I would go back again.

The food is decent, vegetables and potatoes are delicious the meat is pretty bland. Great selection of german beer, and if you love waiting for long periods of time this is the place to go. And the musak is sooooo annoying.
