I visited Marcelo’s Tacos Barbacoa on Brownsville. It was okay nothing bad, but nothing that really stood out either. The food was decent overall. I was hoping the Barbacoa was juicier.

Stopped at this location for breakfast & the customer service was horrendous. The male attendant had an attitude with the couple in front of us which by his questions you could clearly see it was their 1st visit just like us.
The attendant began working on that couple’s order & didn’t say anything to us nor the other 4 people in line. The female working the drive thru finally asked us what we needed & we asked for 2 small menudos never asking if it was a togo order. She yells at the guy attendant to let him know she needs 2 menudos. We patiently wait & we observed the guy with 2 menudos that were packed to go. We politely said to the female our order is for here. He quickly had an attitude and walks back with the menudos to return to the kitchen. He says I need these 2 switched to eat here. The kitchen staff also had & attitude to which he replied “well I didn’t know it was for here either I just found out” of course speaking loud enough for us to hear everything. The menudos were such a poor excuse of menudos. The color was like dirty muddy redish water. The actual menudo & hominy had literally no color just meat & hominy swimming in dirty water. The tortillas were cold & quite frankly NOT worth the hassle. We left & drove to the gas station & picked up some tacos that of course hit the spot. I do NOT recommend this establishment on many levels. The employee at the register clearly doesn’t understand we as customers are who pay his salary.

It’s always that chubby guy sometimes taking order or attending the drive thru that is always in a BAD mood . He’s just plain RUDE! It’s this simple , if you don’t want or like to work just go F<%^* home . Your making the business look bad . I already told my family not to go there .
