We liked our older gentleman waiter, even though he opened and touched our straws. He was so sweet. However, the place was dirty, the food was something easily prepared better at home and it was freezing inside. We wouldn’t eat here again unless we were in a hurry (no wait, and only 1 other customer the whole time we were there).

Sweet Elderly married couple own and run the place. Ask for more topping on the bruschetta cause the bread is very dry, not buttered and the put the lightest amount of bruscetta topping I’ve ever seen the salad was fresh. The cannelloni was excellent and full of flavor. My husband had the chicken parmesan and said it was maybe a 5 out of 10 so it might be hit or miss here.

We love the traditional simplistic and authentic Italian atmosphere. The quaint restaurant is a local hidden treasure in the old downtown district of Bountiful that’s owned by the chef and his wife. Their service is always fast and very genuine. All the food is made fresh daily. My favorite is their gnocchi with the marinara and Alfredo sauce and the pizza is tasty and authentic! Their prices are very reasonable.

Great food. Great experience. Great price. I think the wait times are all depending on when you go. We were seated right away and our food was brought to us within 15 minutes of ordering. The food was fantastic and full of taste. I will be going back. I thought the food value for the price was worth it. It is definitely not Olive Garden or the Spaghetti Factory. This place is unique to Bountiful.

I asked the chef about it and everything is freshly made. I grew up in Germany and I was impressed with the flavor and quality of the food.
It’s a small place, yet they will entertain groups of 30 or 40 if you call ahead. I ordered a tasty vegan pizza, while they fed a spirited women’s volleyball team.

It took over an hour for us to get our food after we ordered even though there were only 3 other guests in the restaurant. We got the Alfredo pizza with chicken which they charged $3 more for than what the menu said. The pizza was decent and I liked the crust. We also got the lemon chicken with Alfredo pasta… The sauce for the pasta was BLAND, it tasted like milk and flour and when we mentioned it to the waitress she told us we were the only people who had ever complained about it so we must be wrong. The environment was a little too cramped and run-down with ceiling tiles drooping and cracks in the walls.

Worst service I have ever had! My husband and I waited over 15 minutes to be seated, another 20 minutes before our orders were taken, another 30 minutes to get our drinks and salads and 30 minutes before our food arrived. We never got our bread that supposedly came with the meal. Our waitress was super slow, had no personality what so ever. She could not recommend anything on the menu nor could she get our drink and appetizer order right. The ravioli was cold, bland and all around awful. The pizza was the most disappointing meat lovers I have ever seen and tasted. I don’t plan on going back or recommending it to anyone. Save yourself some time and go elsewhere.

I have been to this restaurant 3 times in the past few months and have loved it every time. I’ve only been there on the weekend so I can’t say anything for the chef that cooks on the weekdays yet. I’ve had the Alfredo Fettuccine with Lemon Chicken and the Spinach and Crab Cannelloni with Alfredo. The atmosphere is great and they are really nice. You definitely get what you pay for here.

Nice, authentic ambiance. I cannot speak to the quality of the pasta dishes. The pictures looked good on the menu.
The pizza was horrendous. Crust was not cooked through and was like a bad frozen pizza crust. The sausage wasn’t Italian and tasted like Jimmy Dean’s breakfast sausage, and the onions were cut up raw on top of the pizza after it was cooked. I still feel sick to my stomach two hours later.

The servers were very kind. The food however was less than mediocre. The sauces were a bit watery. I got the sense maybe some of the food had been frozen. The salad was an extremely plain iceberg only salad. The “bruschetta” had a garlic salsa flavored sauce on it. It was tasty, but it was like eating salsa on bread. My chicken was overcooked. My son’s chicken had a couple of larger bones in the breast. The tablecloth was dirty, the glasses were spotty. For 15-20 dollars a plate I felt the place and as very overpriced for what is was.
