My family has been visiting Marcelina’s for over 10 years and I just want to mention how excellent the service and food are. You receive a local and very welcoming family atmosphere. I ordered the carbonara and was so pleasantly surprised that it also comes with shrimp!
The service is always excellent and we’re always received with great attention to detail and friendly staff. I 100% recommend Marcelinas. Also, order the tiramisu for your table. Enjoy !

Our evening started out where I was trying to find a Chicago style deep dish pizza. Let me first say that didn’t happen! Then I googled best Italian restaurants in Ocala Florida. And this little gem popped up. My husband and I had a fabulous experience. The meal was absolutely fantastic. Let me say first
of all, that I’m extremely picky! If it’s not as good as or better than what I can cook, I really don’t wanna spend my money. So it was worth every time. And let me further say, the prices were extremely reasonable, which I will post the menu as well. My husband had the veal marsala, and I had the chicken fransece (don’t think that’s spelled correctly)! Anyway, you get the point! We ordered as our side dish fettuccine Alfredo and then I ordered an extra order of broccoli. The only thing I personally didn’t care for was the dipping sauce, which was oil, herbs, and very heavy garlic. They were very accommodating in giving us butter with our fabulous toasted bread. The service was impeccable. The Chianti was to die for! If you like a very light fruity not to dry not too sweet wine go for the Chianti. My husband thought it was a little loud in there, I guess it was. But it wasn’t something I couldn’t deal with for an hour. You definitely need to go check it out. It’s in a little strip mall you would have no idea how quaint and beautiful it is inside. And they also probably do private parties because they had a very large room available. PS… no, they did not have pizza on the menu.

I’ve been here twice. Once in March 2025 and then again today January 2026. Both times the food was amazing!!! Absolutely unforgettable! This time I got the Grouper and it was the best Italian food I’ve ever had! This place knows what they are doing! And the service is awesome!

Marcelina’s Is an Italian restaurant located in Ocala. The food was good, the atmosphere nice and the staff great. We found it a bit shady that they added an automatic 25% gratuity to our bill and then asked for an additional gratuity and added a ghost service charge. The noise level made it impossible to have a conversation.

1st time there. Ambiance is excellent. Bob, our waiter was very good and I must say, service overall was excellent. Portions were good. Prices? A bit high. I had veal moltisanti. Veal sliced very thin; tasted mostly bread crumbs: on scale of 1-10, I give a 5-6. Bread was good. Wife had spaghetti carbonara: rate a 4 on a 1-10 scale. It was a bland cream sauce, with raw onion, & previously boiled shrimp with tail on & mixed in the pasta.

A quaint Italian restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. All staff members were friendly, and catered to our needs. I had the Eggplant, and Spaghetti and really enjoyed it. There was so much food that I had to take some home. I would definitely eat here again when I have the taste for Italian.

Just had dinner and it was delicious and comforting. Servers were so kind and attentive. My friend and I split a bottle of wine and the beef carpaccio; she had the ravioli and I had the lasagna and no complaints from either of us. Also, the restaurant is decorated for Christmas right now and it felt so cozy.

First time here and let me say I’m in love. The food is delicious, service is espectacular, the ambient and vibe and decorations are also very pretty and set a very nice and chill mood/vibe. Salmon Piccata at Marcelina’s Italian Restaurant was absolutely delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked flaky and tender and paired beautifully with the light, lemony piccata sauce. The capers added the perfect pop of flavor, and the spaghetti was cooked al dente, soaking up the sauce without feeling heavy.
On top of the amazing food, the customer service was just as great. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better.
