This pastry shop makes you feel like a VIP guest! Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I would consider this an experience and not just a pastry shop. From waiting in line (there seemed to always be a line that did go fast) to the counter and ordering. The design of the minimalist space with the baked goods upfront is uncommon but nice to get visuals of the pastries.

Such a wonderful pastry shop! Great, friendly service with amazing pastries. It was a beautiful day, so the short wait outside didn’t bother us. If you know what you want, you’re best off ordering ahead online. Ordering ahead also ensures you’ll get what you want before they run out as it’s a very popular shop. They have a few comfortable seats inside, but there are many more seats on a beautiful patio outside. Parking was easy to find on nearby streets in the business district.

This was quite the experience. We heard Mac Heu was rated as the best bakery in MN. We had to try it, so went on our anniversary for a treat. We waited in line for abour 5 minutes to enter. While in line, we saw Marc Heu. The pastries are delicious. We tried 3 different and were very impressed. I cannot remember the names, other than the chocolate croissant. I would definitely go again. Check the Facebook page for the daily offerings.

Bakery was phenomenal. Their emphasis on attention to detail was outstanding and the baked goods were created to perfection.

The pastry was mediocre at best. Nothing special about any of their treats. This place is more aesthetically pleasing to the eye than good quality pastry to be honest.

Yes, the wait is long-ish, but it’s bearable. The pastries are exceptional. Not too delicate, and flavors and textures marry well. I want for some of the more specialty items like the cronut and the macaroon, and was not disappointed. Would highly recommend to someone with a pastry Jones and an hour on their hands.

Awesome experience, with very personalized and curated service. The line was long, but worth the wait. The pastries and dessert were delicious. Prices were a little higher than other patisseries, but not too high to be worth it. The atmosphere is lovely. Highly recommend!

A darling space with a unique way of presenting their offerings-no menu, just the delights lined up on the counter. They sold out all their croissants, but desserts were plentiful. The Passion fruit tart looked like a little jewel but had poor proportions with a miserly amount of custard to cut through the very sweet passion fruit gel and a thick, concrete-crust. I found Bobby’s baba au rhum oversoaked with sticky syrup, but he liked it. Two salted caramel lattes and we headed home. I’d go back to try the puff pastry treats.

Marc Heu has hands down the best almond croissant I’ve ever had. It was flaky and buttery and filled with a large serving of almond paste. The almond paste had a perfect texture and wasn’t overly sweet. Each bite was a revelation.

Was one of the best bakeries in TC but quality has gone down since the new location. Hope this gets better. $10 for an egg tart that was disappointing . Crust was not flakey or buttery with mediocre egg filling. The raisin was burnt and very disappointed.
