This restaurant is a must try if you are visiting Chateau Elan or live in the vicinity. The Australian wagyu is one of the best cuts of steak I have ever had and it was expertly prepared. A special thank you to the front desk staff, the chef, and my server Matthew for helping to make the dinner and surprise proposal truly memorable!

I had the pleasure of working with Marc Restaurant and Chateau Elan while planning a bachelorette party this past fall, and the staff at both the restaurant and Chateau Elan truly made it a huge success! From the very beginning, their communication was excellent, and they worked seamlessly with me to coordinate an afternoon full of fun and unforgettable experiences.
Chef June Jang went above and beyond, personally answering all of my questions about the menu and ensuring we had an amazing, delicious meal for the entire group. The food was absolutely phenomenal—five stars without a doubt! Everyone was blown away by the flavors, and no one was disappointed.
I’m already looking forward to returning with my husband for his birthday. Marc Restaurant made this special occasion one to remember, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience!

This bar located inside Chateu Elan has a swanky vibe, excellent service and exceptional quality food. We opted for this vibe over their other restaurant at the Inn (Versailles) due to its cafeteria-style vibe which in my opinion is due for a makeover.

My son and his girlfriend came to town for a weekend visit. We wanted to take them somewhere special while they were in town. We had wanted to try the Marc for a while but were never able to get a reservation. Now we know why. Located in the Château Elan Winery is this great fine dining restaurant. The waiter was very professional. He advise us on the most popular items on the menu. We were all very pleased with our meals and my son and his girlfriend picked up the check!! We will be back again and next time it will be on us.

Two dinners at Marc on consecutive nights last weekend; very disappointing compared to our previous stay. The good: Service was top notch. The bad: the food was mediocre. It’s jarring because it used to be excellent, I’m not sure what happened but it is very noticeable. The creamed spinach was a few leaves (and I mean a few) awash with cream and not much else. My entree on both nights was sub-par; a steak that tasted like it had been in the sous-vide too long .. and pork belly that was more akin to biltong (hard, dry and tough). We generally only make the trek to Chateau Elan because this restaurant is so good, after this experience we probbaly won’t be doing it again any time soon.
I should be clear – it’s not awful, and the service was great – but it doesn’t command that price point in it’s current sorry form.

Was surprised by the quality of this steak house at Chateau Elan. Our party had Wagyu, Filet, and Ribeye and all the steaks were excellent, cooked to a good temperature, and the server provided an excellent wine pairing (not Chateau Elan wine). It’s on the expensive side but we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and it was worth the expense. The restaurant is open to the tasting area and rest of the winery so I could see this being a little noisier middle of the day but for dinner it was a good volume for a meal with friends as the tastings had closed by that point.

I really hate to write this review but…we ate here to celebrate a birthday. The fried green tomatoes were good but we waited over an hour for our main meals to arrive. The food was horrible and I do mean horrible. The hen was rubbery and cream spinach was pure water and undercooked. Our server was wonderful and the manager kindly apologized plus removed the meals from our ticket. Very disappointed in the price of this place and poor quality of food. Will not return.

We wanted to have the best birthday dinner here and we tried very hard to do so. Unfortunately we started our meal at the bar which aesthetically was lovely but the bartender left a bad taste in our mouth. My husband asked the price of one of his favorite bourbons having to repeat himself several times, was quoted one price then after the drink was served and rung up was then quoted a price over 3x the original price. Instead of apologizing and trying to make the situation better he became defensive inserting his opinion and trying to talk over us while we were trying to figure out what to do.
Nothing was resolved and my husband ordered a margarita instead which was not what he truly wanted on his birthday.
Meanwhile the assistant manager Amy came over to seat us.
Once she sat us at a less then desirable table while we were the first and only guests in the dining room- my husband expressed how poorly the drink situation was handled.
Instead of apologizing or offering any solution she stood there like a deer in headlights and muttered ok stating she would take care of it then walked away.
Our server was absolutely AMAZING and our appetizers were delicious. I highly recommend the mushroom ravioli.
But our entrees were sub par. My husband had the ribeye and I had the sea bass. While I ate the entire piece of fish because it was barely 4 oz my husband barely touched his meat. The sides were less than desirable and disappointing.
Dessert was on point. But Our check was over $400 before tip, At that pricing I’d expect to leave having eaten a full meal. No one bothered to come by and check on us to see how we were doing or how the food was.
I can not emphasize this enough our server was lovely and so attentive! However the bartender and manager seem to be allergic to an apology. They both should be trained on restaurant conflict resolution. We will not be returning.

Oh man, I wanted so badly for the bad reviews to be misleading but they are accurate – this place simply isn’t good. We had reservations on a Friday evening for dinner. We were quickly seated and served promptly which is great. But the food was not good at all. I ordered the cheddar biscuits as an appetizer. They were burned, hard and literally ice cold. Sent them back. Pretty sure they just popped the burnt biscuits we initially got in the microwave and put them on a new dish. They were terrible. But considering it took over an hour to get our food, I ate them because we were starving. I ordered the 8oz filet and whipped potatoes. Both bland and left a lot to be desired. We also ordered the maple whiskey salmon and Parmesan fries, no Parmesan. These are literally fries you get in a hospital cafeteria. Probably Ore Ida. The fries were the only thing we ended up finishing before we decided to get the bill and head to Chick-fil-A for dinner. The wine was good, as it should be, but definitely won’t be returning or recommending this spot to those visiting Chateau.
