Marash is easily the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in Florida. If you’re looking for a halal Turkish restaurant near Hallandale Beach, Hollywood, or Aventura, this place is truly a hidden gem and a can’t-miss.
Everything we tried was fresh and full of flavor. The Adana kebab, gyro, Ali Nazik and Pasha Kebab were all standouts, and you can tell the food is prepared with real care. If you have room for dessert, do yourself a favor and order the baklava or kunefe. Their kunefe is now my favorite dessert of all time.
What really makes this spot special is the atmosphere and people. It feels like you’re visiting family. Pelin is the sweetest server that genuinely cares about your experience and hosts you like you’re a family member. Also it’s very family friendly, the staff is genuinely sweet with kids, and there’s also a comfortable area outside for guests with dogs, which you don’t see often.
You can feel the pride behind this family-run restaurant. We got to meet the owner who is very particular about where the ingredients come from, and that attention to detail shows. If you want authentic halal Mediterranean and Turkish food in the Hallandale Beach area for lunch or dinner with warm, genuine hospitality, Marash is absolutely worth the visit. Was looking for good Mediterranean food and stumbled upon this place and it was AMAZING. Everything was great quality and amazing flavor. The meat is all marinated overnight so it’s juicy and flavorful. The salad was fresh and seasoned. The service was excellent. The ambience was sensational. Very relaxing. My personal favorites were the İskender, sarmas (stuffed grapes leaves) and Mantı (Turkish dumplings)! The İskender was bathing and soaking in the tomato sauce and butter, making the meat extra tender and flavorful. Meanwhile, the sarmas and Mantı were wrapped like a warm hug all in one bite.
Highly recommend this place. Sit back, relax and enjoy their delicious Turkish tea!

We were staying at a hotel in Hollywood, FL, and after searching on Google we found this restaurant. We had family members visiting the U.S. from Turkey, and based on the name, they felt that Marash would be a better choice than other Turkish restaurants nearby.
After we sat down, one of the servers told us it is a family-owned restaurant, which made the experience even more special. The food was excellent-honestly some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in the U.S.
We will definitely be coming back again before we leave Hollywood.
