1000/10!!!! Such a great place! Very clean atmosphere and the staff are very friendly! Food is so amazing, I got the Number 1 platter with lamb and chicken. My friend got fish and I tried some, I don’t even like seafood much but the fish was cooked to perfection! Definitely give this place a try if you haven’t already! Going to be a regular from now on

I can’t say enough good things about Maq’s! It’s our go-to takeout place. The gyros are fantastic. I almost always get lamb over rice. Very generous portions and the flavor is outstanding; I always do the white and red sauce but be aware that the red sauce is a little hot and also very delicious. Masala fries are a must try. The lamb kabobs are made to order. Chicken is also delicious. Everything is super fresh, always hot and fast. The prices are extremely reasonable. The owner is a super nice guy as well.

Better Living
We’ve been going here since they opened. Always great food, generous portions, and friendly service. They recently changed their hot sauce and it’s even better than before. We get the chicken platter, falafel, fish platter, and lamb. The desserts are good too.

OMG…. I can’t say enough good things about this spot. I read reviews and decided to give it a shot. IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!! The person that took our order was very pleasant and answered our questions we had. My husband ordered the chicken tikka and the guy let us know that it would be about 20 minutes (it was cooked to order) we had no problem wanting and it was worth the wait. If you don’t want to wait call ahead. I ordered the chicken over rice with the white sauce. It was soooo good. Did I mention the portion sizes???? Let me tell you, I couldn’t eat all of my food in one sitting. I will be going back and telling my friends about it. I definitely recommend this place if you’re hungry.

This is my go to spot for Halal food, hands-down the best in Delaware! After trying Maq’s I’ll never go anywhere else! The portion sizes are amazing and the food is always delicious. I’ve tried the chicken over rice and the mixed platter both are packed with flavor and never disappoint. The falafels are also super crunchy and delicious! The desserts are just as incredible, especially the firni and banana pudding, they’re a must try! The service is always great, and the guy who’s usually there (I believe he’s the owner’s cousin?) is so friendly and welcoming every time I stop in. He really goes above and beyond! If you’re craving Halal, this is absolutely the place to go!

The food was absolutely delicious and incredibly fresh. Since moving to Delaware, I haven’t had anything quite like it. You could truly taste the herbs and spices in every bite. I also really appreciated the owner taking the time to come out front, introduce himself, and share the story behind the restaurant while educating us about the meal. It made the experience even more special. The portions were generous, and in my opinion, the prices were very reasonable for the quality and amount of food. I’ll definitely be back!
