On the outside, this place looks MID and chopped but the inside is lovely. I had no idea this place was connected to Winged Bear and it makes sense. The pizza is really good. Not crazy but it’s maybe the best spot in town. 19 bucks for a large ain’t bad but the toppings do cost extra. The atmosphere inside was cozy and I had this very nice elderly waiter who was very funny. He even held my pizza box that I forgot and waited for me to come back. Overall, a great place and I will come back to try more!

Definitely recommend Maple Tree Cafe. The bartenders, the hostess/waiters, and the kitchen are all very friendly and provide excellent service. Even dealt with my parents and their friends for hours on a Saturday morning after my wedding and they all left fat and happy. Thanks again Kenny and Liv for always making me and my guests feel welcome!

We had the best time! Our server, I want to say Amber, was the absolute kindest person ever and chatted with us a ton about our trip that brought us to Simsbury. It was like chatting with a friend! She was the best! She is the epitome of great service that makes you feel welcome and taken care of. The pizzas were yummy and we loved sitting out on the patio. We live in Texas, otherwise we would absolutely be back.

Twenty dollars for poached eggs and medium well steak. You can see the eggs are clearly not poached, they’re totally hard boiled (without a shell). Mother’s day special?! Took forty five minutes for kids’ meals to arrive, with half of our meals, another ten for the rest of the meals. My daughter had to watch her cousins eat while she sat there hungry (because the kitchen can’t deliver food so at once?), another five for syrup. The”steak” is about five or six ounces BEFORE cooking. The medium well was a charcoal brick. The menu claimed fresh fruit and pastry with each, but the waitress claims simply, “No pastry!” Sorry, I asked about your menu. But it was busy! Nope… Not until we’d been here for an hour. This place needs to either not do this, or do it right. My wife, the MOTHER of my kids, on MOTHER’S day for A MOTHER’S day brunch, didn’t get her whole order. Repeatedly asked for her bacon. Perhaps the waitress will simply answer, “No bacon!” Doesn’t matter… Waitress is missing in action.
I wouldn’t even call this place a dive bar.
Stay away.
McDonald’s would be better. (I wouldn’t actually know, I don’t eat at McDonald’s, but I’d assume they’d get the order right.)
Update, hour and a half after we ordered, a half hour after we got food, when everybody was leaving, SHE GOT HER BACON!!! It was super greasy, smashed together. Totally unappetizing. That’s the third picture. That’s bacon. I swear.
Another update, someone in my party asked about the pastries as well, to which (I’m assuming) the manager responded, “we crossed off all the menus, you must have gotten one we missed.”
What a joke. I have had better 24 hr diner food.

Today I visited the maple tree. Upon entering I was greeted by a bar keep who politely asked me what I was drinking. I started with a water and browsed the menu. Since pretzels are my favorite snack, I decided to try it out, and underestimated the size of the JUMBO pretzel. It came with a solid portion of cheese and honey mustard. Deliciously buttered and salted. I washed it down with a margarita made with espolon, my favorite cocktail. A peaceful environment, quiet on a Tuesday afternoon, which is expected. Although I didn’t sit outside, The Maple Tree definitely has expansive outdoor seating. Thanks for having me!

We attended an Open Mic night and were truly entertained. To make the night even better the food was outstanding. Crisp, fresh Greek salad and a meat lovers pizza. This will now be a regular spot for us.

Had a private dining event here for my organization as a kickoff dinner for the year, and it was great! Good private room, great staff to work with, good food, and an extremely reasonable price for what we got! I’d highly recommend them for private dining events!
