We’ve been to Maple Street four times now, and it has absolutely become a staple every time we’re in the Lakeway area. Honestly, they have the hands-down best maple coffee I have ever. Their chicken and waffles are also seriously good. I haven’t even been able to explore the rest of the menu because I feel compelled to order the same items every single time we visit! Beyond the fantastic food, the staff is always friendly, and the restaurant itself offers a really nice atmosphere with both cozy indoor and pleasant outdoor seating. Our only wish is that they had a location at least in South Austin so we could enjoy it more often!

I’m breaking my rules and posting this while eating instead of after because this is some amazing food. Drove 30 minutes to get here and have found the best place for biscuits and gravy, even the eggs and bacon are great. Exquisite service, friendly staff and an awesome atmosphere. All around 11/10

They have a patio so we can bring the pups.
While in line I was watching the open kitchen and there’s something so comforting about watching someone make the biscuits I’m about to eat. These literally are hand made.
I always get anxious ordering at a new place but it went great. It’s pretty easy and she answered all my questions.
We ordered 2 biscuit sandwiches, a mimosa, and hot chai tea (oh and 2 sides of eggs for the pups). The mimosa came first and it was yummy. Then came the food, the staff were very friendly! Actually it seemed everyone was fairly happy working. Very nice crew.
I thought the food was very well worth the price we paid. We for sure will be visiting again and I recommend others to visit! If you’re like me, I’m obsessed with a good biscuit and I will travel all over to find one. This place has biscuits worth the drive.
One thing I want to mention is, we never got the hot chai tea. It was time to leave so I went to ask for it, the lady was frantically making drinks and she seemed overwhelmed. I’m not sure what happened but there were actually many people asking for and waiting for their drinks. Something happened to throw things off and I think it’s worth management looking into. I will visit again soon and if this happens again I will adjust my service rating but for now I believe it was a random mishap.

Maple Street was recommended by a friend whilst I visited this area of Austin and it didn’t disappoint.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, making me feel like I’d known them for years. The food was home style and tasty with a generous portion size. Finally the atmosphere was formal enough to feel like a restaurant, but cosy enough to feel like home.

I had driven past this shop many times and wasn’t sure what it was. I finally stopped in and discovered it is a chicken and biscuits shop. They have many offerings including classics like chicken and biscuits and gravy, biscuits and chicken and bacon and egg and maple syrup and many other combinations. They also have several coffee and juice offerings in a relaxed, cozy atmosphere. 10/10 will come again.

Lance is so welcoming and easy going. His establishment is clean cute and calm.

Flakey buttery crispy on the outside soft on the inside. Absolutely perfect. The mixed berry jam taste like someone’s loving grandma made it. Please go here and try as much as you can. So delicious.

I went on a Sunday morning. Line was a little long but to be expected. Food service quick and pleasant. Atmosphere felt “like home”. Food was really good! Fresh, warm, and buttery homestyle biscuits topped with sausage gravy were delicious!

My kids who are not a fan of mushroom loved the mushroom gravy on their biscuits.
Each time we’ve been here the food has not disappointed. The biscuits are buttery. Only downside is that they’re so good that they usually don’t last long.

Stopped in for a late lunch and was rewarded with a delicious experience. I ordered their fried chicken and gravy best seller and patiently waited. It was near closing time and my food came out hot and freshly made. I was hungry and hopeful it would taste as good as it looked! This place out performed most other biscuit places I’ve tried. Sausage gravy was very good. No doubt I look forward to returning.
