This is a great spot for brunch in downtown Savannah. It’s casual, welcoming, and perfect for a relaxed morning or early lunch.
They offer several coffee options, and I tried the Maple Tap, which had the best aroma and flavor for my taste. I added sausage to my taco, and it was soft, flavorful, and really satisfying. My daughter ordered a chocolate chip waffle, but they initially brought out a vanilla waffle. They immediately acknowledged the mistake and quickly replaced it with the correct order, which we really appreciated.
We sat upstairs, where you can overlook the first floor. It was quiet, comfortable, and had a nice atmosphere to enjoy our meal. Overall, a great experience and definitely a place I’d recommend.

This is one of my favourite go-to spots for breakfast in Savannah. This was my first time visiting on a Sunday, and honestly, the service was . Usually the person taking the order is super nice and friendly, and the food comes out hot without too long a wait. But this Sunday was really slow—even with plenty of help in the kitchen. Maybe the team just wasn’t feeling the team spirit.
I love ordering the Squawking Goat . The chilli sauce gives it just the right gentle kick. I also liked the maple vanilla latte—light and smooth maple flavor that paired well with the heavier biscuit.
A must-try, but don’t expect true Savannah hospitality .

Great place to grab traditional southern biscuits and breakfast in Savannah. The staff was friendly in courteous, attentive even though it was a busy morning. It took a while to get the food but understandable and the food more than made up for it.
We ordered a biscuits with gravy, mushroom and also tried the fried green potatoes and they were all really good. Portion size is pretty decent and You could split two orders between 3 adults.
We’ll visit again

This place was lively, chaotic and worth the wait. Fried green tomatoes were amazing. First time having them and I cannot wait to have them again. I don’t think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. The fresh orange juice was tasty and refreshing.

first time here visiting from up north, got here at open on a sunday, guy up front seemed unhappy and short, just stared at me when i asked how he was doing. i got the five and dime, the mushroom gravy was good aswell as the iced maple vanilla latte. however the chicken was chewy and my mom refused to eat hers as she thought it was undercooked. she got the farmer, her chicken was lukewarm and the cheese didn’t even melt, the biscuits are also very small which was disappointing as we came here for a classic southern biscuit. i’d go somewhere else next time, unfortunately won’t have time though so definitely disappointed in our choice to go here

This place was a pleasure to visit! Both me and my husband got the bold bowl hash with all the goods. The goats cheese was heavenly and paired so well with all the other ingredients. The biscuits were soft and buttery on the inside and perfectly crunchy plus just the right bit of salty on the outside! The paired it with a liquidity grape flavored jelly that I thought was a bit too sweet. That was the only thing I could have lived without! Great place for breakfast or brunch!

Maybe I’m expecting too much, the food was good. Comparing it to Vicious biscuit in Jacksonville it comes up short. Comparing it to the seafood shack’s low country boil I feel like the retro seems to be lacking, which was disappointing because I didn’t order at the first place because I was excited for this place. The retro with an a la cart biscuit extra was 14.50 plus tax.But seriously the low country boil has shrimp, whereas this plate’s most expensive part was 2 strips of bacon. At least the have a la carte biscuits for $3, that’s a pretty good deal.

Didn’t realized that this restaurant was a chain upon first visiting. Now understanding that better helped me with my expectations of Maple Street. The biscuits are very good, not the best I’ve had in the south but hit all of the classic requirements. The biscuit breakfast sandwiches are the better item on the menu, but still aren’t much more than a good biscuit with the egg and bacon. The chicken and waffles aren’t anything crazy. The restaurant is really nice to sit in inside especially with them having upper level seating if it ever got really busy.

Cute atmosphere…biscuit was okay, nothing special. Def wish I would have gotten the chicken & waffles. The hashbrown patties were delicious.

We ordered the hash bowl, Five & Dime. Fried Green tomatoes & smash brows. The vegetables in the hash bowl tasted like frozen vegetables (not fresh). The food was not hot. Service was okay.
