Had excellent, large serving of BBQ ribs@$20. Cooked perfectly, not fat/grease, and very tasty, not salty. Steamed broccoli was wonderful. Plenty left for lunch the next day. Owner Amin is a welcoming host. I carried out but there are a few tables to sit at if you need to eat in. There’s no romance in the spotless and bland dining area, its focus is plain and simple: eat, enjoy. You ain’t in Rome or Paris or even in Kansas City, it’s Queensbury Road in Riverdale Park but the place is clean, food good, not overpriced.

The grilled chicken was so good, but I got jollof rice with it, that rice was not jollof it nasty to me. I got groundnut soup. The meat in the soup was tough, and it had a green plastic sting in it witch is a helth and safty valuations. I was charged $47 I’m disappointed. I have mix feelings about going back. The owner told me he would give me a better experience and the chicken is worth another visit.

I had the most amazing food. Okro soup and fufu. I’m so grateful I can walk down the street and get amazing healing food like this. This soup was packed full of flavor. And it was the first time getting fufu from a carry out place. It was awesome. I can’t wait to try another soup next time.
