Visited the place 3 times, 3 years in a row at their different locations and it never was a disappointment.
The most recent place they occupy is beautiful with outdoor seating only. The service is still lovely and attentive and the food is delicious. A well-traveled and foody friend of mine hesitated when I proposed Thaï in Zipolite the first time and she could not wait to go back again this time. The Pad Thaï is my to-go dish at pretty much any Thaï place worldwide including Thaïland and theirs does not disappoint, perfect blend of sweet and spice. All dishes my friends tried were exquisite.
I am a fan of Thaï Tea as well and the sweetness of it. I was to say I was a bit let down by their version of it that is not sweet at all. Otherwise everything else is a 5-star for me!
Always preferable to make reservation in advance on busy week-ends or holidays when the city gets packed.

Been here dozens of times. It’s a great alternative to other options. We really like the wings for an appetizer and also like the Cha Gio and fresh summer rolls. Any main dish we have had has been very tasty. Pad Kee Mao is favorite along with the green curry . I don’t think you can go wrong eating here.

Definitely lives up to the hype. Really well-established place with excellent, so-flavorful food and great portions. Just so good. My waitress and another server were soooo nice. We made an 8 PM reservation to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Our first impression? Packed on a Monday night — which, in our experience, is always a great sign. I normally wouldn’t think to make a reservation on a Monday, but I’m so glad I did. We watched several tables get turned away.
We were greeted promptly, and our server was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. The menu is impressive and thoughtfully curated. Having traveled extensively throughout Thailand, we’re big fans of authentic Thai cuisine — and this absolutely delivered. The flavors were vibrant, balanced, and beautifully executed.
The green curry may have been even better than some we’ve had in Thailand. We also ordered Pad Grapow (Thai basil), and both dishes exceeded our expectations.
They were very busy, so our food took a little over an hour to arrive. That’s part of the rhythm here — things move a bit slower — but the quality makes it more than worth the wait.
As new residents in town, we’re especially excited to have found a place like this. Now that we’re locals, we’ll have plenty of opportunities to work our way through the menu — and we absolutely plan to. So grateful to have such an excellent Thai restaurant here. Thank you Mao Mau!!

It’s kind of weird to have a Thai & Asian cuisine in Oaxaca Zipolite. With that said this is one of the best restaurants so far on this trip. The sushi was absolutely amazing and our entrées were very delicious too as well. I had the tofu option and was cooked to perfection.

It’s a decent option if you’re looking for a change, but don’t expect top-quality food. The bun cha was tasty, but half the pork was just fat. As for the spring roll, I’m not even sure what it was—probably frozen. I gave it a try, but that was enough for me. The pictures show what we couldn’t eat.

We had an amazing experience ! We are traveling to Oaxaca for our honey moon and we cam across an amazing delicious restaurant! The pad Thai was so so so good. No crumbs left! And my husband had the green curry! Very aeiromatic and delicious

The Way We Saw It
A very welcome addition to Zipolite food scene. The taste and perfume of the dishes is super authentic and the prices are good. We would love to go through the whole menu, everything was super tasty. Good cocktails too, friendly service and nice ambiance. Will definitely be back!
