Such a wonderful romantic dinner! We loved the privacy, the sand between our toes, and the gorgeous setup with candles and fresh flowers. The food was delicious and fresh, and you can’t beat sitting right in front of the Pacific waves as the sun sets. A special thanks to our server, Kennet Albarado—you were incredible and made our night!

I didn’t give 5 stars overall because, like pretty much everywhere else that foreign tourism has taken over in Costa Rica, the prices are a bit high. This was the best service I’ve had in a long time, though. We had fajitas, sliders, and a couple of soft drinks. The atmosphere is great! Right on the beach, the road far enough away that one does not hear it, comfortable music playing quietly enough to not distract from the waves and wind, space enough between tables that one feels comfortable talking about anything. All in all, a great restaurant.

Beautiful hotel!
We didn’t stay here overnight, but we spent three afternoons at the beach restaurant and bar Manzú honestly, the most beautiful spot in the area. We were lucky to have Kenneth (Alvarado) taking care of us, and he truly made our experience special. Besides being very professional and attentive, he was incredibly kind with our 2-year-old, even playing with him and making him feel so comfortable. Our little one almost became friends with him!
I highly recommend this place, you won’t be disappointed. The cocktails are excellent, the kids’ spaghetti was a big hit , and the sunsets are simply unforgettable!

We had such a wonderful dinner at Manzú last night! We had a large group of 20- our food and service was impeccable from start to finish for our entire group! Wonderful ceviche, a tomahawk, and plenty of martinis! Our server Salvador did a great job handling multiple checks and we never had to wait for refills or new drinks. Truly a gem of a restaurant here in Santa Teresa

We discovered Manzu Restaurant thanks to a recommendation from José and Emanuel, and from the moment we arrived, it felt truly special. The entrance alone is magical—walking through lush trails surrounded by the sounds of Costa Rica’s wildlife, birds and monkeys echoing through the trees, as if nature itself were welcoming you.
As the path opens, the view feels like a fairytale: the ocean stretching across the horizon, pristine nature all around, the scent of the sea in the air, gentle waves in the background, and soft white sand beneath your feet. Every sense is instantly engaged.
The entrance staff greeted us with warmth and professionalism, making us feel immediately at home. Shortly after, Emanuel and Jesús guided us to our table, giving us the freedom to choose the perfect spot—an elegant yet relaxed touch that defines Manzu’s atmosphere.
Emanuel took the time to ask about my preferences and recommended the Passionfruit Ceviche, which was outstanding—fresh, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. José suggested a Carajillo (espresso with Licor 47), and it was exceptional. Every recommendation felt thoughtful and personal.
Manzu is more than a restaurant it’s an experience where nature, cuisine, and genuine hospitality come together beautifully. I will return every single time I visit Costa Rica.
