The moment we walked in Janna gave us a warm greeting. Joshua came over and treated us like old friends it was refreshing to feel so welcomed. Gell the magician mixologist made the best drinks I have had in while. Smooth as if I wasn’t drinking at all. The flavors were explosives food was superb and just genuinely cared for all; around great services. I highly recommend trying.

We arrived and were greeted warmly. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food we ordered was awesome! If you are a person that doesn’t like spicy food be sure to read the full description of the meal. I like spicy food and loved it, my husband isn’t as enthusiastic about spicy food but did enjoy his meal. We ordered the wine as suggested in the meal description.

We were looking for new places to eat in Tacoma, but Manuscript will definitely not be one we return to. I’m not someone who usually leaves reviews – especially negative ones – but this experience warranted it. The menu felt misleading, especially regarding the “Classic Breakfast.” Nowhere did it clarify that the dish only includes eggs, one protein choice, and either potatoes or bread. Based on the wording, I expected something more substantial – at least eggs and bacon, plus either sausage or avocado and potatoes or bread.
For $15, the meal felt sparse and disappointing. On top of that, the service wasn’t great. The waitress/bartender wasn’t very attentive – we waited quite a while just to have our order taken, and I had to ask for our waters to be refilled because it wasn’t offered. When I brought up my concerns about the misleading menu, she simply said, “Yeah I understand,” without making any effort to address the issue or make things right.
Overall, a very underwhelming experience, and not a place I’d recommend.

We had a reservation for a larger party for Brunch and we had a wonderful time! The service was warm and friendly and the food was to die for.
I had the Pork Belly Hash and was one of the best dishes I’ve had this year! Would recommend getting a large Lemongrab Baby to split with the table as the lemon paired amazing with the jam.
Would definitely come back for brunch!

I went to Manuscript for brunch and used the inkind app. I ordered the classic breakfast with bread pudding as the carb and we got the pork belly hash to share as an appetizer. The food was exquisite. The service is impeccable. They take your coat on a rainy day and the hostess makes natural conversation and continually comes back to check, making sure your experience is good. The waiter offered to answer questions genuinely which really changes the experience. You could tell that he genuinely believed in the food and success of the restaurant. They must have a great team there who support eachother because they supported customers without hesitation. The food was priced fairly and it was simply delicious. I think my only suggestion would be to lower the music a tiny smidge. It was a great vibe and I think it would have been hard to old people to hear despite the music being great. I had a great birthday brunch.

Take out and delivery was spot on, as described, and speedy on a Saturday. A night in with take out that tasted like a night out was delightful. The Pork Belly Rubs tasted like meat candy on a creative mix of greens, carrot slaw with umami, tangy flavors. They nailed it on the generous portioned Caesar Salad full of fresh, dark green romaine with a classic French dressing. Citrus Carbonara Bianca house-made bucatini pasta was light, textured- and a surprise twist on a comfort dish. If takeout on a cold winter night is this good, how much would a dining experience exceed? I hope to find out soon.

Hubbie and I went on a Sunday night for a quick dinner after the holidays. Food was unexpectedly delicious. We had the pork belly- it was seasoned well with a crispy outer crust on a bed of Brussel sprout salad. It was followed by pasta rustica- it perfectly seasoned. The pesto sauce was creamy with a slightly tangy flavor topped with a light bread crumbs and Parmesan balanced by fennel sausage. The pasta itself was homemade and done perfectly. For those find it difficult to avoid nightshades in Italian dishes, it was perfect. We also had the Orchard brassica salad- also wonderful. We highly recommend this place.

Always a fantastic experience at this place! At this point I’ve tried almost everything on the menu, and every single thing has been great. Large portions too! We always leave with extras to-go. I especially love their brunch options. Service is also consistently friendly and accommodating. One of our favorite date spots in Tacoma! Try it!!
