Now with outside seating! Family owned, friendly old school bar in Atlanta. Great food, lunch, brunch and dinner specials. Full bar, cold beer 41 taps. Handles large groups up to 100 with advance notice. Reservations not needed for groups of 15 and under, with large round tables available throughout. Known as a hang out for police, nurses, politicians, actors, musicians, professors, journalists, writers, and liberals. Famous people come here and are not bothered. Parking available across the street on North Highland and behind the Tavern. Food is cooked fresh to order and is available for delivery via Uber Eats. Sports or news always on the TVs. I’m so happy that this icon of my youth is still pretty much the same – a little bigger now, but still steeped in rich history. The manager Steve was very friendly – he’s been there for 30 years! The food and service were great. It’s just the kind of place that makes you happy and proud to be an Atlantan.
The pinball machines were great. I’ll be writing a review for my local pinball mailer. I had all 5 machines to myself on a Saturday night, which was nice but also made me a little sad for pinball. Ya’ll come play these awesome games! They have Jaws, King Kong, Godzilla, Rush and Deadpool. All great recent Stern games.

I ordered my food through Uber Eats on 10/14/2025. The food is delicious. I got fried chicken tenders with fries and horseradish sauce. I wish that the fried chicken dinner plate on IG is a choice on Uber Eats other than that everything is great.

It opens at 930am for breakfast.
Parking lot located behind the restaurant, easy parking.
It was a cold morning and place was cold; they didn’t have the heat on, they said it couldn’t be on because it will make the floor slippery and a danger for the servers walking around.
Service was cordial and attentive.
The food is good but not a wow moment, just a basic selection of breakfast dishes simply served.
With so many other places in Atlanta metro, specifically dedicated breakfast/brunch places, I will not patronize this establishment again.

Had dinner here the other night along with a few beers and it was fantastic. Gotta love the decor.
Mozzarella sticks were solid, French dip was incredible, and the ribs were as well. Overall a really hearty, enjoyable time.

I randomly got the urge for some good nachos, and after finding this place online, I decided to give it a try. The nachos were pretty average, but someone in my group ordered the French dip with provolone and said it was one of the best they’ve ever had. The service was excellent—no complaints at all. I’d definitely come back and try it again!

We had a great dinner here on Saturday night. We sat ourselves and were greeted by a waitress very quickly. The service and food were both exceptional. They also have a pretty extensive draft beer list. We really enjoyed the Brunswick stew, Philly cheesesteak, and French dip. We will absolutely be back.
We have since been back multiple times: Brunswick stew is phenomenal, the Terry style wings are some of the best I’ve had in Atlanta, and the service is always excellent. Manuel’s has become one of our regular spots.

Picked this place for dinner over many other recommended Atlanta institutions, and it did not disappoint. So glad I made the trip.
Had half plate smoked ribs with a side of slaw, toast, and MacNCheese. Wasn’t sure if I would finish it, but I did. My God, it was delicious. Service was top-notch.

We threw a surprise birthday party for my friend and I am so glad we chose Manuel’s. This was my first time at the restaurant and I honestly will be back.
The venue has a neighborhood feel. The hardwood floors are great with the natural design aesthetic. The big windows provide ample natural light and allow you to experience the area as a whole while sitting inside.
We booked the back room which is a huge area. There is also a speaker connection which is great as it allows you to create your own ambiance that you desire. There is also a curtain you can close which allows for you to be off in your own world while still being present at the venue.
Along with the booking, you get your own servers for the room. This is a great addition as it makes the service and experience as a whole very personal. The service provided was amazing. The servers were friendly. They knew the food and drink menu very well and were able to keep everyone’s orders in order and keep away from any confusion or mix ups.
The food at Manuel’s was AMAZING! I decided on the Steak Quesadilla with a side of Tater Tots. I’ll be honest, I think I’m addicted. LoL!!!
The steak in the quesadilla was tender, meaty, seasoned, and most of all a perfect portion. The quesadilla as a whole is a healthy portion and great as a personal meal or one to share. (I want another one now. LoL!)… the Tater Tots took me back to childhood. They were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They were a perfect pairing for the Quesadilla. Furthermore, the fixings that come with the quesadilla were fresh and good. Can you tell I enjoyed my meal?
Overall this was a great experience. Manuel’s is perfect for a group of friends or a personal meal. You can’t go wrong with dropping in.
