Manpuku Japanese BBQ Dallas offers an interactive yakiniku dining experience featuring premium cuts of A-5 Japanese Wagyu beef from Kyushu Island, Japan, alongside American Wagyu beef and USDA Prime cuts. Jidori chicken, sourced from a small Californian free-range farm, completes the protein selection. Traditional Japanese sides and appetizers complement the grilled meats, while an extensive beverage menu includes Japanese cocktails and spirits, craft sake, ice-cold draft beers, and a global wine list. Manpuku’s warm and hospitable ambiance, inspired by the Japanese concept of ‘Omotenashi,’ ensures a memorable dining experience.

we had the premium omakase, the meat was perfect, one of the best place i’ve had in dallas for yakiniku
a little bit hard to find parking tho, we parked behind the place (la la land parking lot)
we went their for a friend’s birthday and we got some cheesecake on the house
very cute and worth it experience overall
Service was slow for an “upscale” place like this. I waited 10 minutes for my water to be refilled. It took the same amount of time to get a hold of a server.
I wouldn’t come back.
2. You basically have to cook everything yourself, and the staff is extremely slow and unresponsive.
3. Side dishes aren’t included and are severely overpriced for the small portions we received.
4. Speaking of $10 Kimchi. Bruh there was tomato…………..done
5. No one was there on weekends
1. Our food started off strong with soup/appetizer/salad and first set of meat. After that we had a 40 minute wait for some reason and second round of meat came out and the rice/noodles and then we waited another 20 minutes for the next meat thankfully the last three came out afterwards.
2. Our grill fire wasnt working fairly well and kept turning off from the beginning and instead of seating us somewhere else (mind you we were one out of four group that were there) the server eventually messed with the grill and removed some of the components to have the fire problem fixed but it was after two meat rounds so i was thinking to myself why didnt they fix it earlier or move us.
3. We would be more understanding if the place was busy but as we noted we were 1 out of four groups that were there but the service was really slow like getting water and not even getting one grill change. (Not sure if they even do that)
4. Parking, not sure if this the restaurant fault or the valet. The person that was manning the valet didnt know if the parking was complementary or not and the only way to know if to get up to the door of the restaurant and thats when you see the sign that says complementary only on saturday and sunday. (But kudos to our server he gave us the code for the complementary)
I want to give it higher rating because of the food but overall experience was poor.
Once we entered we were greeted by the host and was sat promptly. Our server came by and greeted us and gave us the rundown of their concept and menu. We always order the signature tasting and have never been dissatisfied. My personal favorites are the kobe beef, sukiyaki, and A5 wagyu, but as of 2024 it looks like they don’t serve the kobe beef anymore :-(.
The only drinks we ordered were the lychee martini and it was amazing as well.
