They weren’t overly busy for a Sunday afternoon, but it took a long time to be seated.
Our waitress apologized twice for how long the food was taking.
When it arrived, it was VERY GOOD! They call the place chicken manor for a reason. You’ll see in the picture, I ate the skin separately. It was an entirely other thing to eat. Oh it’s so good. And they’re the only place I know of that serves vinegar cole slaw. Mmmmmm. And their ‘Hot Sauce’ is tasty as can be. Tomatoes, rice, chili powder, what’s not to like? My wife said the fish was good too. And she let me share her hand cut fries so she could enjoy some sweet lemon pie. My dessert was malt vinegar and hand cut fries. And their prices were good.
We were enjoying our conversation and kind of forgot the slowness. That was our only complaint.

Chicken breast were smaller than expected. The coating was good, but not the juiciest chicken. The mashed potatoes were good. The Cole slaw was not my favorite.

I ordered steak well done and I ended up sending it back 2 times, the prepared a new steak each time, so it took a while to get my food.
On the other hand everyone else in our party of 12 liked there food and said it was great. They can accommodate large parties and the service was great.

Basic 90’s style sit down restaurant. Think they have not change much since then. Been going there for years. Good atmosphere. Great place to meet with larger groups. Limited menus, Basically Fried chicken and fish. And home style sides.
Decent fry foods, Reasonable price. 4 people & a tip cost me 60 bucks You will leave full without going broke.

Not enough staff. New waitress seemed overwhelmed. Food all fried. Overfried! Shrimp, clams, chewed like leather. Fries completely dried and shriveled. Our food cooled while we waited for silverware. Ate everything else until nothing left except the large piece of fish when we both stopped our server again to ask for tarter sauce. I could see the server was flustered so I did leave a tip, but I feel the restaurant was at fault for not staffing adequately.

This restaurant is under new ownership for about a year now and, while it is clear that they are trying to mimic the food quality and taste of the previous owner’s, it is not even close! I’ve been a long-time customer of this place (over 25 years), and I’m seriously disappointed. The food “looks” the same but it does not taste the same. Furthermore, the servers are sloppy in appearance and there is no order to the way that they work. Finally, the seating and the food preparation are consistently slower than what was evident with the previous ownership. This was a very busy restaurant with many loyal customers but now I believe I’m not the only customer who’s disappointed.

Quaint little restaurant. Wonderful friendly staff. Food was ok but not impressive. Grilled chicken was dry and my baked potato was served with artificial bacon bits and a tiny bit of cheese for ‘loaded’. Their fish and fried chicken looked much better and are the specialities of the restaurant so perhaps those would be a better choice for someone.

We arrived in the area on Sunday when nothing is open in Amish Country. We were staying at a motel close by and stopped for lunch. Quite a few customers but we were seated immediately. We had been there several years ago and enjoyed it very much. Things had not changed today!
Food was very good. They offer 3 side dishes with each meal. Service was fast and friendly. No complaints. We will be back.
And by the way, we eant to thank whoever paid for our dinners.

Weekday, us two were first ones in the place. Our order was taken in good time by a sweet waitress, (by the way we only recognized one waitress, everyone is new), but it took a bit for our food to come, I ordered scallops and fries and very disappointed ☹️☹️☹️, both were much overcooked .Wondering why they cooked them so dark brown, the new owner asked how it was so I kindly explained to her food is overcooked. She offered to replace it but my sister was half way through eating and I did not want to wait again. She didn’t charge me (I’m glad) but we both came out very disappointed…..
