Manny’s tortas are wonderful. They deviate from the traditional torta in a few wonderful ways. The traditional one is great, but Mannys uses French rolls and lots has lots of unique and delicious sandwich combinations.
Always a go-to when I’m within at least 5 mi at lunch… Always tops
As for the atmosphere, I only give it a three because it is just a stall at the midtown global market. They can’t control much of the atmosphere… But for food markets, it’s one of the best!

Manny’s Tortas is absolutely incredible—and being located inside Midtown Global Market makes it even better since there are so many food options around. That said… you need to stop here and eat.
I didn’t even get a photo because I ate it so fast. I ordered the Al Pastor, and my husband kept sneaking bites until he finally admitted he was upset he didn’t order the same thing. The flavor is unreal, and the bread is perfect—soft, fresh, and holds everything together beautifully.
The jamaica drink was amazing and instantly took me back to stopping at my favorite street spots in Puerto Vallarta—refreshing, nostalgic, and spot-on.
Do yourself a favor and grab a bite here. You’ll immediately understand why this place has such amazing reviews. ✨

I was so hungry that I forgot to snap a photo of my torta, but believe me— she was glorious! I’ve been meaning to try Manny’s for YEARS, so I was excited when my coworker suggested we order tortas from them for a work meeting.
As a vegetarian, I’m always skeptical that a spot that specializes in meat will nail a veggie offering, but I’m pleased to report that Manny’s veggie torta was delightful. The mushrooms were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and they resembled meat. The bread was fluffy and fresh, and the sandwich exceeded my expectations.
Can’t wait to go there with my husband. Next time I’ll be sure to get a photo…
Edit: ordered again (a week later) and did a little sandwich photoshoot— gotta get all the good angles!

I’ve lived in the cities for over 5 years now and this was my first time going to Manny’s Tortas after everything i’d heard. It definitely did not disappoint – quite honestly one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. I had the manny’s special; the meat was juicy, the cheese melted, and it was overall perfectly sauced. I know a lot of people have said it’s overpriced, but I disagree. I think the ingredients are quality and it filled me up, I don’t mind spending 15$ for a good sandwich. My friends got the 3 little pigs and the pastor and both agreed they would have it again. Overall a great meal and I’ll be back!

Great, delicious Mexican food for a reasonable price. I tried the chorizo molletes, which is 2 half open sandwiches. It’s not my favorite sandwich, but it’s still pretty good. I recommend you give this a try if you like Chorizo. For the drink, I tried tamarindo which was refreshing and sweet.

Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place if you like bigger portions! The food is alright not the best or worst but the portions are smaller than I expected. $15 for a torta & chips is wild I would recommend they increase the portions. A Chipotle burrito would have been bigger & tasty.

What’s the new trend of ignoring customers? Literally stood there for minutes while the counter person talks to a friend, looks at me w the gas face, and then goes back to talking to their friend. Pham’s rice bowl putting y’all to shame. Cheaper, just as good, and they don’t treat you like your evil for trying to order a sandwich.

STOP WHAT YOU’RE DOING RIGHT NOW AND GO GET MANNY’S MOLLETES. Look, I don’t care if you’re weaving through rush hour traffic trying to make the birth of your first child, make the detour and get the molletes, your partner will absolutely forgive you as they cram these in their face. Good heavens, the molletes are out of this world, beyond stellar. The tamarindo drink is also the most amazing, brilliant, wonderfully refreshing drink for a hot summer’s day. Sweet and tart and icy cold, you really can’t go wrong with *anything* at Manny’s Tortas.

Absolutely some of the best tortas I’ve ever had my entire life, and before you ask, yes I’m Mexican and have had them all over Mexico and the US throughout my whole life. A true culinary gem in the heart of the city.
