Went in for restaurant week and it was a fantastic deal! Mini pitcher of margaritas, Monterey cheese dip, choose from 3 entrees and sopapillas for dessert. $60 for two people. Food was delicious as usual! Our server gave us space and time, as we were trying to purchase Bruno Mars pre-sale tickets, and she was super happy for us when we got them!

My co-worker and I ended up stopping here for a late night supper. 9pm.
I always judge a Mexican restaurant by their salsa, and it tasted just like spaghetti sauce. Weird…for dipping tortilla chips.
The hot salsa had a better salsa taste, but I couldn’t get over how much the regular salsa tasted like spaghetti sauce!
We were seated next to a big table of people celebrating a birthday and it was so loud, my co-worker and I didn’t even talk to each other, because we had to yell.
I enjoyed the taco combo, two beef and two chicken tacos.
I also ordered the jalapeño cheese dip, which was pretty good.
Cheese dip, taco combo, and a Pepsi costed me $35.
My co-worker ordered two birra tacos, and a tamale with water and paid $25
Holy crap…..

The food was good. They give you plenty for the price! I was very happy about that.

My only complaint is our waitress was ok, but not very friendly. They were extremely busy when we visited. So I’m not sure if she was just overwhelmed but it made us feel not valued.

Overall I would come back but maybe on a less busy night.

Food was on great as always but what a special experience for the kids to interact with such a talented Mariachi Band. Jose is a legend for that Grito!!

Well know mexican eatery in Kansas City Missouri with a rich history. This is a very large resteraunt that is not short of dining space. The menu is packed with the traditional favorites, but they are well known for their fried tacos. I chose the tacos on my 1st visit here, and I was not disappointed.

I had not been here in 40 or more years. It was not good then. Now it is fabulous! Tacos amazing no grease just flavor. The tamales are the correct amount of meat and massa. Sauce really good hot sauce. The rice really good. Whole beans very flavorful. We will be back.

For was okay at best. Sent the nachos back cause it was mostly just runny cheese no substance. I’ve had nachos all over. This was the worst. And it was supposed to be nachos gigantic. Lol. No. Burrito was ok. Dad like hisb enchiladas will though but I tried them and the meat was bland just like everything else. Had a sweet sauce on it which was weird to me. My wife liked the cheese dip which is her favorite thing to order. It was just ok in my opinion. Staff was very friendly. They were great. Place was clean. All good except the food which is kind of the point.

Linda is the best server. The food was great. But we was celebrating my birthday and setting and catching up and the rude manger came and wanted to move us for a party. Never in my 15 years in service have we ever asked guests to move. She was rude and unprofessional.
