Ordered lunch with a colleague and it was just okay. I realized my expectations were a little bit too high before ordering so when the food arrived and I ate it, I was a somewhat disappointed. I’m really into big bold flavors and the way this food taste, it was blah or bland. Eventhough, I didn’t have a great experience , I still recommend giving this place a try $$$. There appears to be a lot more to explore based on the other reviews.

I order a shrimp mofongo and omg it taste nasty I have never in my life taste a bad mofongo like this one, they only add tomate to the shrimp I guess because it only taste like tomatoes and the mofongo it self was so dry, it was nasty not recommended, also no utensils or napkins

The food was absolutely delicious especially the chicken noodle soup. Everything looks fresh and the restaurant was very clean. Staff also was pleasant definitely will go back.

Incredible. I went to Manny’s for mangú, cheese and onions, as I do not eat meat. I was charged $10, even though I’ve been charged $8 for the past year that I’ve been going there. The older guy that works there was incredibly RUDE and called me “crazy” for saying the meal is $8. The meal is $10 with meat and eggs, which I do not eat. Also, this is the same guy that prepares food with NO gloves. Go in anytime and watch him handle food without gloves. By the way, he also charged me an additional 40 cents as a “non-cash adjustment.” To top it off, the mangú was old and the location smelled of a dirty bathroom. Never again!

I love Manny’s! I’ve been going there for years and Fridays are my favorite because they have bacalao. Portions are always huge, customer service is excellent, food is delicious and reasonably priced. Well worth the drive from the suburbs to get some great food and I love and miss the neighborhood too. Usually, I like to sit and eat there, but since we’re in a pandemic I got my food to go.
