One of the better Filipino sit-down spots in the IE. I try not to be biased when it comes to Filipino food, but this place really is solid. The service was great, the Tita at the register was super welcoming and friendly. There’s plenty of seating both inside and outside, which is nice. It can get a little loud inside especially if the place is busy but its bearable.
My girlfriend brought some food home the other day, so I got to try their pancit malabon, lechon kawali, and tokwa’t baboy, all really good. Decided to check it out in person this time, and we ordered the beef tapa with fried egg and garlic rice. That dish hit the spot. My only gripe is the portion size, especially for the price. Other than that, definitely worth a visit.

In Rancho Cucamonga, if you happen to be craving for Filipino food, this is the place to be. Their bibingka is delicious.

The service is friendly and prompt. However the food is very lacking. Had the fried tilapia as it’s the only fish served whole. It was very small with little meat. They give you two scoops of rice to fill you up. My gf who’s Filipina had like a beef soup. It only had tiny bits of edible meat. She said the only thing that was good about it was the fish paste that came on the side. The halo halo seemed decent. The other desserts seemed okay. If you live close then maybe give it a try but otherwise not worth the drive and someone who has lived in the Philippines would probably be disappointed.

All the food I ordered were tasty! They tastes the way they should! It was my first time trying their bibingka and it was sooo good especially with the palabok! They also have a huge selection of tasty Filipino dishes, including Filipino desserts! Loved it!

Pretty good. Foods do come out a bit slow. Little bit warm inside. Some what busy. There one worker just sitting on the corner not helping. He did jump in to help then quickly sit again. Weird but okay. Halo halo not as good as Grill City. I think it got nuts.

I’ve heard of Manila Sunset many times actually; I think this is where my family orders lumpia (eggrolls) for family gatherings. I personally have never visited but they had more than 5 locates in southern California. Since I am in the I.E more than a couple times a week, I was happy to know they had a location in Rancho. I really enjoyed the hot food. The prices were reasonable, I am use to cafeteria style but it was nice to somewhat have table service. Ordered pancit malabon and eggrolls, I loved that the food came out super hot! If your new to Filipino Food start with the Skewers, beef steak w rice, pancit Malabon and lumpia shanghai. Thank me later!! IG @Palate_Journey

The fish wasn’t seasoned at all and my grandma did not like the pancit Malabon; considering that’s where she’s from. I did enjoy the egg rolls though.

I like the atmosphere and the staff are really friendly. Food was served fast and yummy! At least for my taste. I missed the boneless bangus with rice and egg combo from Philippines, so it’s nice to have it again.

If you go to Manila Sunset, YOU HAVE to eat bibingka. It’s a baked desert with coconut and it’s so goooood. It taste better warm so if you take it to go make sure to stick it in the oven for a few minutes before eating
