This was our first time ordering take out from Manila Grill, and overall we had a great experience. We ordered the Pork BBQ plate. At first glance, the price felt a bit high at $16.99 per order, especially since drinks aren’t included, but the portion size was very generous, which helped justify the cost.
The food was really yummy and clearly made with care. Everything was flavorful and satisfying. The staff were nice and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable right away. The wait time was about 15 minutes, but it was definitely worth it.
We enjoyed our meal and would order again to try other dishes.

If you’re looking for authentic Filipino cuisine then you need to check this place out. Delicious food and great customer service. The food is made to order so it does take a little time (15-20 mins) to get it but it’s worth the wait!

I come at least once a week for lunch. This visit I had the Kare Kare and Halo Halo. You can see from the photos the presentation was great. The food tastes even better. My one gripe with Kare Kare and this is how it is traditionally cooked is that it needs a kick. I wish there’s an option to make it spicier but that is a personal preference. Overall their food is great and the folks are super nice and friendly. Might have to wait since food is made to order but it is worth it. Also added pic of my crispy pata from another visit.

We have tried almost everything because we keep on coming back! Yes it is that good! Try this place, you won’t regret it. Food delicious, ingredients fresh, service with a smile – just great people. If you still have room, try the halo-halo (big serving) and the ube shake – made with real ube halaya, so you can really taste the genuine flavor of ube.

I ONLY order Filipino food from Manila Grill in Charlotte, NC. It’s the most authentic and best tasting of all the southeast asian cuisines. Charissa is the best and the staff are so friendly and helpful with my questions. No I didn’t get paid or given free food for this review, that being said, help me out! Just kidding! Haha! The Ticino and dinuguan are out of this world and the halo halo supreme is the best I’ve had. So lucky that my work is now only 5 mins away.

Cultural Appreciation on a plate! Alley 51 offers many delectable options, and I chose Manila Grill as my inaugural experience. I had the Pork BBQ Plate featuring BBQ Skewers and they were tender, smokey and delicious! I can emphatically recommend this and my spouse had a different dish she enjoyed, as well!

Manila Grill absolutely stole the show at Alley 51. I was staying at the hotel across the street for a few days, and while I tried plenty of places in the food hall, nothing came close to this spot.
The first bite of their mac n cheese lumpia had me hooked… Golden, crispy, and packed with cheesy goodness. It was so addicting that I came back and ordered it three times in just two days. Pair that with their perfectly seasoned adobo chicken and the classic lumpias, and you’ve got comfort food taken to another level.
But it’s not just the food. The staff made me feel like family, greeting me with genuine warmth every time I walked in. That kind of hospitality makes a place unforgettable.
If you’re visiting Alley 51, do yourself a favor: skip the guessing and head straight to Manila Grill. It’s the kind of place you’ll keep thinking about long after you’ve left.

Literal gem in the middle of all other food stands.
This is located inside a grocery store where there is a food market inside.
No more combo plates though but it’s ok.
I ordered a plate with two skewers of bbq and a side of rice which was a really delicious bbq skewer.
To top it all off, I had their regular halo-halo and it’s one of the best I’ve had in a while.
Also got some lumpia to which I could tell is homemade.
