Wow! This is the Best NY Style Pizza I have had in a long time! Delicious & Huge Slices! Perfect Cheese to Sauce Ratio. Authentic style! The Tiramisu was so so yummy that I attacked it & forgot to take a picture. Loved the ambiance and service. Ally was great & gave me excellent service. Good music & vibe. Will definitely return when I come back into town.

We had a great experience here. It’s still in its soft launch phase but the service was great, the owner even came to our table to ask for our input and make sure we had a great experience. The food was so good! We got the supreme pizza and the chicken vodka sauce and both were delicious. We just came back from New York so we were craving New York style pizza and this did not disappoint. They’re tiramisu dessert was also delicious and their zeppoles could use some cinnamon sugar or maybe Nutella and strawberries but otherwise it’s a great dessert dough. We also had their mozarella sticks that were so yummy. The sauce that came with it wasn’t your typical marinara sauce, you could tell everything was freshly made and made well. Would definitely go again!

Went November 6th around lunch time and it was lightly packed, maybe 3 or 4 other tables. Our server Bri was amazing and the owners are very approachable and were active in helping. Got the special which is 1 topping 12 inch with a soda which felt pretty decently priced. Also shared some garlic knots with the table which were really good as I ended up taking some to go and bill stayed under 20 dollars for both. The main issue is the place is fairly new and still in a soft opening phase, so not a full capacity crew which can lead to longer than normal wait times. If you want something fast for lunch. I would order in advance as it took about an hour from sit-down to order, get food, and then pay as not many servers. I would normally do a half star but because of the food left it a full four. I think it’s definitely worth trying out and will visit again in a couple months after they have the kinks worked out. There is a full menu but not everything is available and make sure if you need something to ask and dont assume it will be given( straws, glass for drinks, ice, etc) once again this place is fairly new with limited staff so you will have to be a little patient but if you have the time go early during lunch or pre order to get in and out. Would recommend if you’re looking for a new pizza spot to try. It is in the mix so it’s right across ironically from mellow mushroom downtown.

As soon as we heard that a real NYC-style pizza place opened in town, we rushed there! The pizza is delicious, and YES if you are from the City you will not be disappointed. It’s the real deal. My favorite American pizza is and will always be from Koronet (Amsterdam Ave. and 110th)–this pizza joint on Gervais delivers a decent second (on a smaller, humbler scale).

We’ve been wanting to try Manhattan Pie after hearing great things on a local foodies page, and it did not disappoint! My sister was visiting from NYC, so we stopped in before a Gamecocks game, and every single pizza was a hit. We ordered the chicken parmesan, lasagna pizza, chicken ranch, and the cheese pizza lunch special… and they were so good we went back to order more. Honestly, they were just as good as the pizza we’ve had in NYC.
The owner and employees were incredibly kind and welcoming. Since they’re new and still working out a few things, my only small suggestion would be clearer signage about ordering at the counter, it was a little confusing at first whether to sit or order. The owner was very hands on and helpful with everyone who walked in, though, which says a lot.
Overall, it’s a great spot with plenty of indoor seating, excellent customer service, and absolutely DELICIOUS pizza. This is definitely our new go to pizza place!

The variety was great, the guy gave me an extra half a slice at the same cost of a slice, it was quick BUT, I noticed the sticker on the bell pepper on one their pizzas that they hadn’t removed while preparing the food which left a bad impression. Then when I took two bites of my meat lover’s pizza slice, there was a hair strand inside the slice which grossed me out. It was a good deal but I wouldn’t be trying again because of bad hygiene standards.

I visit this place at least once a week for lunch . The pizza is not only delicious, the slices are huge! You can’t beat 2 slices of pizza( pepperoni or cheese) and a drink for less than $10!! The employees and Maduh is always friendly. Give this place a try if you haven’t!!
