Reviews
The vibe at the bar was really nice, and the bartender Bree and Lucas was super friendly. She even made me two delicious mocktails that weren’t on the menu. Great food, great service — I’ll definitely be back!
Here’s the play-by-play of the heavy hitters:
⸻ Lobster Risotto — 5/5 Slaps (the good kind)
Creamy, buttery, perfectly al dente risotto crowned with sweet, luxe chunks of lobster. This wasn’t risotto — this was therapy. The depth of flavor? Nearly illegal. The kind of dish you pause after each bite just to admire what’s happening in your mouth.
Certified Slap Ya Mama Good.
⸻ Chilean Seabass Special — Fall’s MVP
The seabass came out melting like it forgot how to have structure — silky, delicate, rich without being heavy. Paired with autumn aromatics and just the right hit of acidity, it was a “stop-talking-to-me-I’m-eating” moment. A masterclass in balance.
⸻ New Scallop Setup with Fall Carrots — Fall on a Plate
Perfectly caramelized scallops with that sear you dream about. The fall carrot setup brings this earthy-sweet backbone that ties the plate together like an orchestra warming up in harmony. Elegant, seasonal, and straight-up addictive.
Slap-worthy elegance.
⸻ Slow-Cooked Short Rib Special — A Hug in Entrée Form
This short rib didn’t “fall off the bone” — the bone probably fell off it. Deep, rich, slow-cooked perfection with a sauce so glossy it could double as a luxury car finish. Cozy, comforting, and absolutely savage in flavor.
A double-slappin’ soul-warmer.
⸻ Lobster Pot Pie — Sheer Culinary Disrespect
This is the dish you tell your therapist about because it awakened something in you. Flaky golden pastry hiding a steaming cauldron of lobster decadence — creamy, rich, loaded, and ridiculously generous.
You don’t slap your mama after eating this.
You call her and apologize for every bad thing you ever did.
⸻ Caramel Apple Cheesecake — Fall’s Crown Jewel
Imagine the best caramel apple you’ve ever had… now imagine it became a cheesecake and joined the Navy SEALs. Silky texture, warming spices, lush caramel, and tart apple cutting through the richness. Autumn in dessert form.
Certified 10-finger lick, knock-the-chair-over good.
⸻ Final Verdict
MB Post’s fall menu isn’t just good — it’s dangerously good.
It’s the kind of menu that makes you consider ordering round two just to relive the moment.
A seasonal knockout from top to bottom.
Five of Five Slaps
Slap Ya Mama Certified.
Book a table, wear stretchy pants, and thank me later
We did find a hair in our food which kind of threw us off our appetite a little bit, but the servers were incredibly apologetic and helpful in getting us an alternative meal very swiftly.
1- Decoration 10/10: a nice style, modern with a little touch French, Spain
2- Ambiance 10/10: The ambiance was fantastic. There were a lot of people at the bar. Everybody was having fun.The music was not too loud.
3- service 10/10: The service was perfect from the host to the waiters and crew. Everybody was very polite and kind, some even spoke different languages.
4-food 10/10: The food was amazing. It doesn’t have a michelin star for nothing.Chef, is very good.
5- cleanest 10/10: i was very surprised at how clean it was and at the same time. That’s how it should be. It shouldn’t smell. There’s nothing worse that, after having a very good dinner and going to the bathroom and it smells, but here it’s not the case, congrats to the staff of the bathroom.
Extremely small portions.
Taste was okay except the sauce on skirt steak didn’t blend w steak.
Literally, 2 stalks of asparagus underneath steak.
Halibut was acceptable. But portion was not worth the price.
We ordered bread and although it did come hot was only 1 piece for 3 persons served in a bag?
Service was excellent. Very nice staff
Ambiance wonderful
Booths nice. Other chairs uncomfortable in dining area
