Always been a big fan of Manhattan Bagel, especially this location. But since new ownership took over, the bagels are gummy, as if undercooked. I’ve been several times and it seems to be intentional. Not sure who would prefer this to a normal bagel cooked through.

I literally watched the one owner sneeze on my sandwich while putting cheese on it. Did not turn or attempt to cover with his arm. I didn’t want to make a scene because there were a decent amount of people in there so I paid for it and left it on the counter..I will not be back

If I’m in Narberth I ALWAYS head down to Manhattan bagel to get an everything bagel (sometimes more than one ). Their bagels are soft and delicious! I got an egg bagel this time, in addition to my everything bagel, and it was so good!

I’m still fuming after my visit to [Bagel Shop ] this morning. As a customer, I expect basic respect and courtesy. What I got was a humiliating and infuriating experience.
The staff was completely unprofessional and disrespectful:
– They rolled their eyes and sighed when I asked for a simple bagel with cream cheese toasted
– They yelled at me when I politely asked them to stop talking over my food while they’re cooking it. They’re spitting in it, I look in the glass case where they have the donuts I saw couple of dead roach
– They refused to apologize or offer any solution when I expressed my frustration
The lack of customer service skills and basic human decency is staggering. It’s clear that the staff at [Bagel Shop do not value their customers or care about providing a positive experience.

Perfect location; however, worn and dirty appearance inside.
I really wonder if facility complies with franchise arrangement (dirty appearance, scribled signs over standardized price board, lack of knowledge of what even a “baker’s dozen” is). If they cleaned up their act they would be crowded with people. This is the worst Manhattan Bagel location I have ever stopped in, Was not a pleasurable customer experience. I hope they get their act together,
