HIGHLY RECOMMEND. My husband and I are doing date night tonight and we got here 5:50/6pm for an early dinner before a show. It was a little empty when we arrived since it was a bit early, but we are about to leave at 7pm and it’s very crowded. We shared Snapper Sushi Roll as our appetizer and I had the Drunken Noodles dish and my husband had the Loa Lemongrass dish. All three things were absolutely delicious and extremely flavorful. The service was a little slow because they weren’t expecting to be so crowded tonight (a guesstimate of almost 80% of the inside tables were full), and I still think the servers did a good job. We also ordered a different speciality drink to celebrate and we both thought they were super tasty. 10/10 would come again.

The restaurant’s decor is beautiful, very chic and modern. The atmosphere however is noisy and echoes.
The service was good, my one disappointment was that our waitress never asked us if we wanted refills on our drinks of water and soda.
The food presentation was A+, but the taste fell short for me as it did not have the authentic flavors that are expected. The beef and chicken were dried out and lacked taste.
Was really hoping to like this place as it is in a great location and has a great menu variety.

We’ve been wanting to come here for a little while. The service was great, however, after finishing the appetizers, it took longer than expected to get our main dishes delivered. We ordered the Pad Lao and the Chicken Basil. The Pad Lao was a little on the sweet side. The Chicken Basil was good. We enjoyed the appetizers. You should try the Steak Yakitori and the Fresh Rolls.

The restaurant is really great! The food was delicious. We tried the drunken noodles, the steak sandwich, and some of the sushi rolls.
I also really enjoyed the Thai Tea.
My only complaint is that everything was probably $5 more expensive than it should have been. The restaurant is really good but I did feel like it was overpriced.

Following them on IG and finally stopped by to try takeout. We got the Goat Cheese and Pear Salad with Chicken and I tried their Chicken Tacos. Both were delicious. Nice size portions and lots of flavor. The place is nicely decorated and the staff was friendly. Next time we will eat there.

Mangosteen restaurant is a wonderful hidden gem tucked into the shops at Northdale Promenade. They have a very diverse menu, and the food is amazing. The staff are friendly and attentive.

They have a BOGO offer, but when I called to confirm if the portion size was the same as usual, the answer I got was “It should be,” which doesn’t inspire confidence. If you’re going to advertise an offer, you should be able to clearly honor it, not respond with uncertainty. Don’t put out promotions if you can’t stand behind them.
Update: I ended up placing the order, though the price on DoorDash was higher than what’s listed on the actual menu. The portion also felt smaller and definitely didn’t seem like a $21 plate. That said, they did respond to my review, so at least they seem to care about their customers ♂️
