We sat down, and honestly, we didn’t need to talk. The ocean was crashing right onto the sand just feet away, providing a better soundtrack than any Spotify playlist could ever hope to curate. It set the stage for a meal that was less about “eating” and more about “experiencing.”
Here is the play-by-play of a dinner that hit every single note.
The Crunch Factor
We kicked things off with the Conch Salad and a Caesar Salad.
Usually, “salad” is a boring word. Not tonight.
• The Conch: I am convinced this conch was still swimming five minutes before it hit the table. It was so fresh it practically jumped out of the bowl.
• The Texture: Every single bite had an audible, satisfying crunch. Crisp, cold, and clean. It woke up the palate and demanded attention.
The Main Event: Butter Knife Tender
For the entrees, we went for the Crusted Chicken and the Steak.
Let me tell you a story about this chicken. It was so incredibly juicy and tender that—I kid you not—I accidentally cut through it using the back of my butter knife. That is not cooking; that is wizardry.
The steak? Well-tempered and cooked to absolute precision. But the hero was the finishing salt. Big, aggressive chunks of salt that popped on the tongue, turning a great piece of meat into a masterpiece.
The “Secret Menu” Finale (You Need to Copy This)
Now, for the mic drop.
We ordered the Cheesecake. It arrived looking creamy and perfect. But we came prepared with a secret weapon to take it from “great” to “legendary.”
We topped it with Anguilla Sands and Salts Mango Chocolate.
Listen to me closely: This is the hack you need to try. The smooth, rich tang of the cheesecake colliding with the tropical, deep snap of that artisanal Mango Chocolate? It was the perfect end to the night. It tied the whole island experience together—sweet, salty, creamy, and fruity.
The Evidence
I have attached photos of the food in all its glory. I also attached a photo of the empty plate. That isn’t just a dirty dish; it’s a crime scene where no crumb was left behind.
Rating: 12/10. Come for the sound of the waves, stay for the chicken, and bring the chocolate.
