This is a little cozy spot. Seems like there are local regulars here and it’s family run. So I knew the food wouldn’t disappoint and it sure didn’t. The food here tastes very homemade and clean without compromising on taste.
Soft Chicken Tacos (8/10) – From the very first bite I knew it was fresh and everything tasted spot on. The rice and beans were decent too.
Chimichanga (9.5/10) – This was probably the best thing I’ve had here. It’s perfectly delicious, wasn’t overly greasy and heavy. It was perfect. This one might be the go to for most people.
Patron Platter (9/10) – This dish was also spot on, but the pork tamale was just what it needed to be a complete dish. A great option if you’re feeling a variety of food.
Tres Leches (8/10) – While this wasn’t the best I’ve had, it by no means disappointed. The cake was good but more importantly it was sweetened perfectly. I’ve been to too many spots that over do it, so it was nice to find a spot that gets it right for a change. I recommend this one for dessert.

Great restaurant. The pupusas were cooked just right, and the yuca with pork was amazing. The people who work there are so nice, and the place has a really good vibe. I totally recommend this spot if you want a great meal.

This is definitely one of the best restaurants in the area. We’ve been coming here for many years, and everything has been amazing. If you haven’t been here yet, what are you waiting for? It’s worth it!
From the fajitas to chile rellenos and tacos to pupusas, the food is always fresh and delicious. The yuca con chicharron has consistently been one of our favorite dishes to share as an appetizer.

We have been coming to this restaurant for 20+ years. Food is always amazing and comes out quickly. Small and welcoming atmosphere. Owners are very friendly and come around and talk to everyone. Jose is top notch and always knows our order. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. We recommend the carne asada, mangos grill combo, plantains, chicken quesadilla, fried ice cream and margaritas.

My favorite place for Mexican food in the area. Consistently good. Hot and tasty. The staff and owner and owner’s daughter are so nice. Great margaritas. Perfect serving sizes. Fresh guacamole. From the moment they set the chips and salsa down I knew this would be a good place to eat. Then when I asked for a hotter sauce, what they brought me was over the top. If you like spicy make sure you ask for it.
We started with the bean and cheese pupusa and chicken tamales both of those I highly recommend as a starter.
We then ordered the lunch special chimichanga I had beef my wife had chicken both were excellent. The flour tortilla was done to just right crispness for me it was not dried out or hard like I’ve had at some restaurants. It also came with rice and bean.
The portions were to big that we took food home and unfortunately we were to full to have fried ice cream. Which gives us an excuse to come back.
This place had what I look for
good food, good service and a good price. Will definitely be going back next time I’m in town.

I will not try them for carryout again. I arrived at the pickup time specified and waited an additional 25 minutes. One dish, mariscos saltado had a double scoop of rice. It was mariscos but not saltado. We were hungry so scooped some rice and mariscos before I thought to take a picture. But it clearly wasn’t saltado. No fries at all!

It was good to get a quick happy hour treat , after the salon. Ariel was attentive and pleasant. The owner (I think) stopped over to inquire about my visit. I will return with my husband. Nachos, hibiscus margarita, churros. House salsa is very good. I always love to see burnt bits in my salsa.

Maybe the best queso and salsa I’ve ever had! (And I’ve had a lot) it somehow felt “light” and not overfilling. I was in Laurel for work and needed a quick bite. This place was amazing. Great, quick service, delicious food. The ceviche was a large portion and very fresh. Highly recommend!
