Unfortunately the service during our visit wasn’t great. We were seated at the smallest table and it felt like the host was hesitant to give us a table. We also weren’t asked what we wanted to drink, while the table next to us was able to place their drink order even though they were 45 minutes late to their reservation. Glassware was broken during service, they said they couldn’t make a Long Island, and the waiter offered something that they later said they didn’t actually have.
This also isn’t the first time we’ve had a strange experience here. During a previous visit there was someone who appeared intoxicated (possibly the owner) who kept bothering us during our meal.
The food is good especially the laab but the service and overall experience could definitely be improved.
We ordered thai tea (it was a little bit on the sweet side in my opinion). My friend ordered the **Massaman Curry**, it was good. The sauce was creamy, has a little bit of spice and the beef was tender!
I ordered **Chicken Satay**, I’ve been craving one for a while and this sure satisfied it! Their peanut sauce is really good, has a hint of spice and the cucumber onion salad that came with it was yummy!
I also ordered **Thai Beef Jerky** it reminded me of Filipino Tapa a little nit. It was great, it came with sticky rice I wish it was just regular rice, but it was still good and I ate all of it. It has Sriracha dipping sauce.
We ordered **mango sticky rice** for dessert and it was yum!! The kids enjoyed it as well! Loved the presentation it was so pretty and the mango was really sweet!
Top of my places to visit again for sure! If I’m in town again this will surely be on my list!
Our server was really nice! He checked and made sure we got everything and that we’re satisfied with our meal.
My kids ordered a broad noodle 3 chili heat dish that was very flavorful (one chose tofu and the other did chicken options). I really preferred their dish over mine. I had tempura shrimp over tangy noodles. There was nothing wrong with my dish. The shrimp was great but I found the sauce on the noodles just not to my liking. I did prefer the taste of their dishes. Overall a good experience for our first time at this resteraunt and my first introduction to Thai.
Our food was prepared quickly. Most of us just had water to drink. I appreciated the server leaving a water container for us to refill as needed. Server was quick to refill water container when empty as well.
We enjoyed our meal, received our individual bills quickly so we could get back to work. I was worried we could do on a lunch break- they are very quick.
I only wish I had time to try more of the food. All seasoned well.
The waitress provided hot warm towel after we sat down. Friendly staff. Food was good. The avocado crab rolls were nicely presented. We ordered Massaman Curry and Garlic Chicken. The curry had so much flavor happening! Beef was a little tough, but this was the dish we liked better. The Garlic Chicken was alright- bland in comparison but the chicken was more tender.
Overall a good meal. Don’t think we’ll come here again though as there are so many other restaurants to explore in Rochester and our visits are short.
