We opened our St Johns food cart in June 2020, in the midst of a pandemic. Now we have a new food cart at The Chill ‘N Fill food cart pod, and a newer cart at Cartside Food Carts. We’re just a small family business, and are very appreciative of the support we’ve received from our neighbors and customers. Some of our culinary influences are from old, east coast family recipes, while others come from pure love and affinity for good food. We’re proud of our gluten free and vegetarian options, not normally associated with Italian food. If you haven’t tried us yet, you’re missing out 🙂 Mangiamo!

YES, YES, and more YES! Wow this place is absolutely fantastic. Loved every bite and needed more even after I was done. The meatball sub with extra cheese was fantastic a must try. But their Arancini Balls were the bomb!!!! Get the large with both options and all three sauces to go with it and you will be in heaven!!!!

I really wanted to like this place, but the meatball sub (while it looked delicious) gave my date food poisoning! We had to cut our night short and he is still very sick this morning. Please cook the food more thoroughly in future! Will not be returning.

Bread tasted light, crispy, and fresh! Meatballs and sauce were seasoned to perfection! And the melted cheese completed this delicious sandwich! I love meatball sandwiches and this just might be the best in town! Can’t wait to try the rest of the menu!

I got the meatballs based on reviews and was so happy I did. I’m not even a big fan of meatballs normally, but these are the best ever. Incredibly flavorful marinara sauce. Perfect. The next day I got the meatballs with rigatoni for lunch. They let you place an order online and pick it up, or they bring it out to your car curbside, which is so nice! We will be back. Very likely for more meatballs.

We ordered the grilled chicken pesto pasta, meatballs and garlic bread. The best meatball I’ve had! The flavor was amazing! The grilled chicken was just a tad too dry but the flavor was amazing! Garlic bread was on point, the marinara sauce was fresh!! we will definitely be back and good portion size!! Love that we were able to order a single meatball.

I went here for my very first time the other day. I was indecisive on what I wanted to order. So I asked for suggestions from the guy taking my order (Julian), who was filling some delicious looking cannoli when I walked up. Julian was extremely helpful, offering insight without being pushy and he did it in a friendly way that didnt make me feel rushed. So I ordered the chicken parm pasta to go. It wasnt peak dinner hours so thankfully they weren’t overly swamped with walk up orders. In no time my order was ready and I was walking away with a warm bag that held the most amazing smelling food of my life. I drive for a profession, so I eat and drive most of the time. Not with this. I pulled over to eat it because I felt that if I was driving while eating, I wasnt giving it the respect it deserved. It was phenomenal!! I thank you Julian and I will most definitely be back to try more of your amazing food!

I moved to the Portland Area in 2000 from the East Coast where you can find a good Meatball Sub every other block, but I’ve been searching for a proper meatball sub for 25 years here…I found it last night! Meatballs are the right texture/taste and size…the roll was lovely and the meat to bread ratio was perfect…Last but not least, an absolutely killer sauce. I WILL BE BACK!
