I’ve been searching for a great Italian restaurant in the area for a while and today was a great day. We happened upon it and we were well pleased. Great location and easy access. We didn’t make reservations but a table was available and it wasn’t super busy for a Saturday. The waiter was ok and the atmosphere is very nice. Not crowded but quaint. This visit, only tried the seafood alla vodka dish $$ and the sweet tea and I did enjoy both. I will return.

First of all and most importantly, this should be your go to for authentic Italian dishes!! There was a birthday dinner our group put together on a Sunday in July. The reservation process went so smoothly. It made my heart happy. Everything about the experience was amazing. From the excellent staff to the delicious food. Please, if you desire a great meal and awesome atmosphere, Mangia Qui(Eat here), is the place.

Amazing!!! Literally the BEST restaurant I have been to in VB/Norfolk. I got the Seafood alla Vodka and my boyfriend got the special. We were both amazed out how fresh and tasty everything was. We then got the tiramisu as a dessert, and it was to die for. Our server was also very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. We will definitely be coming back soon- I can’t recommend this place enough!

This was my second time here it never disappoints! This time, my fiancé had the Seafood Alla Vodka, which has jumbo shrimp, sea scallops, tomato vodka cream, parmesan, and fresh fettuccine. Price: $29. I had the Tortellini Alla Vodka, which has ricotta cheese tortellini, tomato vodka cream sauce, mozzarella, and parmesan. Price: $18. Both dishes were amazing, but his was definitely better. Go for the Seafood Alla Vodka every time. You will not be disappointed! 🙂

The food at Mangia Qui is outstanding!!! When the dishes served are this amazing, nothing else matters. They stay fairly busy, reservations are recommended. Sometimes they are so busy the wait staff cannot keep up. So have patience because it is worth the wait. We LOVE everything on the menu!!

I definitely will return but will order something different. I ordered the meatballs and marinara and was not too fond of my meal. Particularly the meatballs were over seasoned (extremely salty, and I love salt so that’s saying a lot) and my pasta was pretty mushy, just making the meal unpleasant – the chunky marinara was very good, however. Food did come out timely after ordering. My drinks were very good and our server was personable and averagely attentive. I was disappointed that it took about 10-15 minutes for us to be greeted at our table for a drink order after being seated by the host – I do believe a factor of this could be that we were still waiting on two guests. BUT, as soon as, we reminded someone we were greeted by the server. I would return to give a second chance and to order a different meal.

Great experience! Very good and attentive service. Caprese and Cesar salads were good – caprese tomatoes were some of the best we’ve had. Good value and big portions – especially the huge focaccia bread appetizer! Tried a watermelon soda for fun, that was good and sweet, and my wife enjoyed her Cheryll mixed drink. Grilled chicken pesto pizza was huge and delicious! Chicken and sausage Florentine was fantastic as well. Raspberry Limoncello cake for dessert finished off a perfect meal. 10/10, would recommend!

Their service and food are excellent. We had the fried mozarella, calamari for appetizer. All is freshly made. For dinner we enjoyed traditional pizza with pepperoni and sausage. Delicious. We also had their Salmon dish and a special cantollini. All dishes were delicious.

Food was good but it was kinda expensive. The service was wonderful, very attentive and informative servers. Ordered the Chicken Saltimbocca and the chicken was a little tough and kind of watery… Weird texture but it was good. Family owned place. Lots of parking too.
