We are always on the lookout for a great pizza place. A mom and pop place. We found the best place today. As I searched Google did their name show up. They have a dine in option and I like to eat pizza hot! We were informed of the special of the day and it was exactly what we order, a large pizza two toppings and cheese bread. We added in a salad and a meatball sandwich with fries. They make their own meatballs so I always get a sandwich on the side to try. The salad was fresh and big enough for my husband and I to share. The cheese bread was the size of a large pizza. That was delicious to eat with our salad. The pizza came out and was a visual beauty. The crust was perfect, each slice had the perfect amount of toppings. We got a garlic butter parm crust. I appreciate the perfect pizza. The sauce was nice and not overpowering. The meatball sandwich was so so good. The meatballs were moist and flavorful and the bread was toasted perfectly and the right amount of sauce so the bottom of the bun didn’t sog through. Melty cheese on the top was just right. The owner/manager even came out and talked to us and was very pleasant. The whole experience was just the best dining experience we’ve had in a while. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

The pizza here is quite good. It didnt blow my mind but its very solid, and it doesnt look it was stamped out of a machine. My favorite part was the pizza sauce, it tasted unique and homemade. I also like the idea of supporting a local or family owned business over the big chain franchise businesses. The salad was fresh, had quality & generous toppings, this is a major indicator of a pizza place for me. Price was competitive. The lady at the counter greeted me as I went in and looked me in the eye which seems to be rare these days.. I see now why this place is a cornerstone!

Food was really good. Got the boneless wings. The breading/batter was not thick, really crispy and the wings were delicious. Antipasto salad was was good.
Their pizza crust was crispy but not hard, not over done. The cheese and pepperoni were top notch. A bit more sauce would have been perfect.

How on Earth does this place have a 4.6 rating???? Pizza was mediocre at best, good sauce what kind of burned on the bottom and you need to learn how to slice pizza evenly, one side was huge pieces the other side is tiny pieces. But the staff was so rude I would never go back

I heard about Mangia from a friend and decided to give it a try. It’s in the Westland/ Livonia Area. It’s one of those hole in the wall Italian pizza/pasta places. Food was really good and the family who owned it were very sweet! We had the BBQ chicken pizza, caesar salad and cheese bread! Great combination and very delicious!
