The restaurant was extremely understaffed. I had to wait at the bar before being seated and was appalled by the way that someone in the kitchen was screaming at one of the waitresses. Shortly after, the bartender on duty was doing the exact same thing to a waitress. We ended up leaving, because if that is the way this establishment treats its employees, it is not something we will support. We wanted to dine here one last time before it closed its doors but find it disgusting, unacceptable and unnecessary to talk to that girl the way the lady did in the kitchen. We will not be visiting the new cafe either. What a shame and disappointment this was for me and my husband to witness. Do better!!!!!!!!

The food is good. The chicken and broccoli Alfredo is very good. The fries have a very strong taste of vegetable oil to the point it runs the taste in my opinion. Unfortunately I just heard they are closing.

First time my friends & I ate here & we loved it! Jo Jo (owner), who also does the tableside pasta, is hilarious without intending to be. My friends & I had the linguine tossed in Parmigiano reggiano cheese with chicken & tomato cream sauce & my fiance had the cacio e pepe with shrimp & all were delicious! None of us could finish all that food & Jo Jo said it would taste even better the next day & he was not kidding. We’ve been telling all our other friends about this place & we’ll definitely return to try their other dishes.

Real Italian food made by real Italians! Not some watered-down Americanized corporate franchise. Perfect food, great service!

Family Italian! Delicious food! I went in with a big crowd- 9 people..the place smelled wonderful..I had the table side parm-regg pasta which was so unique and flavorful. The cannoli was perfectly crisp and not too sweet. Everyone was happy with their food

Took awhile to get a waitress, waited for drinks, appetizers and dinner salad came 45 minutes after we got there a 6, and our meal was served an hour and a half later. Food was NOT that good. Will be going to a different Italian restaurant from now on. We’ve eaten there before and enjoyed the food.

It’s been a few years since I’ve been to this spot, since I don’t pass through Mohnton very often. My son and I decided to stop in around 6pm on a Friday after reading that it was kid-friendly, with paper tablecloths for coloring and kids meals.

Right when we walked in, we saw a sign asking customers to “be thankful for those who did show up to work” due to staffing shortages. I haven’t seen something like that posted since 2021, and honestly, it set the tone in the wrong direction — almost like they were lowering expectations before we even sat down.

Service turned out to be fine overall. Our server was nice, but she only checked on us once and never offered a drink refill.

The kids meal was where the shock came in: $11 for chicken fingers and fries. ELEVEN dollars, and that didn’t even include a drink — we had to pay extra for a soda.

I ordered the grilled chicken garden salad. The salad part was good — crisp lettuce, fresh tomatoes, cucumbers. But the chicken? Definitely not grilled. It reminded me of plain, boiled chicken that had been reheated. No seasoning at all, tough and chewy.

I really wanted to like this place given all the positive reviews, but our experience just didn’t match up. Maybe it was an off night, but it was disappointing.

I’m leaving three stars because the atmosphere was nice and the garlic bread was excellent — definitely worth ordering.

Great food and great service. I’ve tried a salad, pizza, and a cheese steak so far and everything has been awesome.

Ordered delivery for the first time. Eggplant parm sub is heavenly! Perfect sauce and cheese, and nice, spongy roll. Fries are great for salt and vinegar! Will try more of the menu soon!
